So in other words, you''re not paying any attention to what this screwup did, you''re just gonna go off on your usual otherworldly, idiot rant.

OMG! That video was atrocious, inhumain, gross and totally violated animal rights! Bad Bad Sarah!

Give me a break.

CBS has sunk to new lows. What a K-RAPPY piece of journalism!

Sarah does have the ability to lie, look at her life. Why isn''t there a birth record of Trig at Mat-Su Regional Medical Center? He was born on April 18, 2008 but there is no record. Who is lying Sarah or Bristol? Who put an end to the Bridge to Nowhere? What happened to the earmarked money for that bridge? How many in millions has the state of Alaska asked in earmarks? Who is lying? Sarah Palin is. Just wait till the whole truth is out. Just wait till the investigative reporters find the mother lode of lies, just wait. Sarah will not be a candidate for 2012.

I am so sick of hearing about how intelligent Sarah Palin is. The fact is she holds nothing but a bachelors in journalism that is woefully insufficient as preparation for the top seat of this nation''s government. She left the town she served as Mayor 25 million in debt. She abused taxpayer money by keeping the money for the bridge to nowhere and as justification puts in a road that is good for nothing but hunting and recreation. The verdict is still out on what a job she has done as governor because she hasn''t even completed one term. This nation deserves better. I don''t want my children thinking all they have to aspire to is a minimal education in order to be President. Cramming for a debate did not give Sarah the background she needed in history, political science, or even geography. The GOP is desperate if this is the best they have to offer for the future.

Now I know what they mean by cruel and unusual punishment. How long are we going to be punished and tortured by seeing this person every time we pick up a paper or turn on the TV. I would rather be water boarded than to be forced to watched her and her cute self.

Someone please tell me why this woman is considered a front runner for 2012? Why are the TV stations scrambling to get her interview? I have had enough of this woman...please let her fade away...she only represents a small fraction of the American public. Why does the media want to make her more than what she is...an ignorant small state governor who has no grasp of reality.

Obviously whenh we buy turkeys we know they had to be salughtered. That''s not the part of the video that bothers me. It''s that this completely evil, power mad, manipulative witch is still getting coverage that is not justified. She LOST. She went back to Alaska. She did not get Ted Stevens'' seat that she was drooling over. Why do we have continured coverage of someone, who for the moment and hopefully forever, doesn''t matter?

I am so upset with CBS early Show for panning Palin for this video ! Can''t they be done with making fun of her? Shame on you !

"Certainly we''ll probably invite criticism for even doing this, too, but at least this was fun."

Well she was right about the critism, but not for her assumed reason. The crisism comes due to her not having the foresight to understand that others may not have the stomach for slaughter that she has with wolves and bears! She is the only female I''m aware of who actually enjoys slaughtering defenseless animals.

Can anyone tell me if the way she ''slaughters the English language'' is the way all Alaskans speak? I''m just curious since I know no other Alaskans. However, I doubt seriously she can make it on the national political level if she continues massacring English since it appears one needs a DE-CODER to figure out what she''s trying to convey. It''s too difficult to follow much less understand. She really needs to go back to high school to learn English, civics, geography and vital issues of the day [be they current or historical in civics] because she lacks ''general knowledge'' on those subjects. Also MEMORIZATION of talking points and the ability to spit them out by rote like a robot, simply doesn''t lend itself to national politics.

Someone, please put her back in the nasty box she came from!

I%u2019m shocked!

(For those of you with ADD and only focus on the bird - there is actually a very shocking message).

The shocker: A state actually saved money during a surplus!

Ok, I%u2019m officially shocked!

Other states like Illinois spent all their surplus and now asking for help. What if companies did this - saved money for a rainy day - instead of spend.

It is really common sense. We need that in our government.

And the reason why so many people are still talking about Palin is because she is a threat. You see the Obama administration is so focused on presentation, even to a fault, spending great time making sure they look good.

The biggest threat to Obama%u2019s strategy is having someone who is real and authentic come along with an actual REAL record to show for it.

So what a turkey is slaughtered. I%u2019d rather my leaders spend her time worrying about government spending, than making sure her setup is perfect.

But as for Me%u2026

I look at the record of leaders, not how they present themselves. Saving money. Now that%u2019s smart.

So, where is the graphic content I was supposed to see? The only time the killing of a turkey was in the "background" was when the cameras panned away from Sarah Palin and deliberately showed the slaughter, and therefore, it wasn''t the "background" for Sarah Palin anymore. And, besides, so what? Did you really think all those turkeys made their way to your table WITHOUT being slaughtered? If you can eat a turkey but can''t acknowledge that it was killed so you can eat it, then become a vegetarian. It is a real comment on what is wrong with people that they can eat the product while at the same time condemning the process, that they can enjoy the meat while denying that the slaughter of the meat animal exists. Get you head out of the sand, people. For every mouthful you eat, something had to die for you to eat it; be it a turkey, a cow, or a soybean, it had to die to be eaten. So, get over it. That one thing dies so another might live is a fact of life and in denying it, you do yourself nor your children no favors at all. If our economy collapses and our nation disintegrates, your children will need to know where meat and milk and eggs and tofu REALLY come from. So, the video actually is vital information we all need to know, so embrace it, don''t get all shocked and sad and pretend it doesn''t exist.

Sarah Palin in "raw" mode on full display. Young kids don''t need to see Turkeys having their heads chopped off. If this were a small movie how would it be rated? Not "G" Sarah, not rated "G", maybe fine for age 12 and above.

maybe not your protected, insulated and ignorant of the real world kids. Millions of kids that have access to farm life know of slaughtering of animals for food. It''s a way of life. Many young kids also hunt with their parents. Only in your world do kids get no idea of real life. But i bet you''re ok with parents running their 16yr old down for an abortion.

The battle of what kids can see and not see has already been waged and fought and a Rating System is already in place. There is no need to reinvent the wheel with your personal views about what is acceptable, experts have already decided. This event should be rated PG (Parental Guidance, there is no age restriction but some material may not be suitable for all children), and when "Parental Guidance" can''t be implemented as in this case with Sarah Palin, it should not be shown during certain viewing hours. Sarah Palin already agrees and now claims she was unaware the Turkey was being slaughtered in the background, so shut up and crawl back into your cave.

irmcvet97 at 8:01am; so you want your kids to watch;

HMMMMMMM, I GUESS YOU THINK IT IS OK TO WATCH THE MEDIA COVERAGE OF GANGS, THUGS, AND TERRORIST AS THEY KILL LIVE ON T V? BUT, TO SHOW OUR CHILDREN HOW OUR FOOD IS PROCESSED IS AN OUT RAGE.....

THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER OVERSIGHT AS SO TO PREVENT THIS FROM AIRING. THE MEDIA SHOULD HAVE TAKEN THE RESPONSIBILITY TO REFUSE TO SHOW IT. BUT, THEY WERE TOO BUSY JUMPING AT THE CHANCE TO BASH PALIN, AT ANY COST.

YOU ARE THE BIGGEST IDIOT, OOPS SORRY, AIR HEAD OF ALL.....

GOD "BLESS" AMERICA.

I realize that thankfully our country has freedom of speech. However, it shames me that so many of this country''s citizens(including the news media) don''t have anything better to do than to make fun of the things that go on in the real world. Sarah Palin "pardoned" one turkey -- that means that the rest are not! As I watched the Saturday Morning
Early Show after airing the piece on Sarah Palin, several of the newscasters talked of their Thanksgiving meal with their families(which included very DEAD turkey). I did not watch it, but you were also going to show how to prepare a Thanksgiving meal which included what?? -- a big, beautiful, richly browned DEAD turkey. For those of us who live in the real world, you must kill a turkey BEFORE you eat it.
Stop picking on Sarah and do some unbiased news reporting.

Holy, moly! Kids might actually see how turkeys get to the table on Thanksgiving Day, or any other day. As a boy I not only watched, but assisted my mother and father catch chickens and turkeys, chop their heads off, gut them, dip their bodies in boiling water, pluck the feathers and generally get them ready for my mother to cook them. This is a perfect metaphor for the way supporters of Obama want to be coddled cradle to grave. The lefty-elite.
