If I was to tell YOU I want to hire your spouse, what would YOU offer to do? Would you disclose the identity of anyone who has ever given or loaned you more than 250 dollars of in kind material worth more than 250 dollars? Would you release the names of any person or group which has or ever will pay you any money to speak or consult with them? Would you, in short, offer the same information that Bill Clinton haas offered? Would you do that in order for me to hire your spouse?

Or would you say, "Hang on. I have nothing to hide but it is my SPOUSE you are hireing and NOT me. Who''s next, our kids? OUR parents? Our best friends or business associates? This is privacy invasion."

Which would YOU do?

THANK YOU Mr. and Mrs. Clinton. Though I mauy not agree with each of your political positions, I thank you for your willingness to serve and to sacrifice so very much of your privacy for our country.

Hillary Clinton''s selfishness will drag down the Obama administration. She lacks the charisma to be a leader. Time for new people in these cabinet posts will truly represent change in Washington.

She probably weighing the consequences of having Bill''s financial dealings disclosed. Either that, or she''s attempting to hoodwink the American public into believing that this offer was a complete surprise, that she is being courted by Obama to fill this position (presumably, because of her vast international experience) and she must now decide if this position is befitting a person of her "stature"...pear-shaped or otherwise.

aldon61....I don''''t know where your from but your very mistaken if you think Bill Richardson doesn''''t have his own agenda or that he''''s a team player. Anyone from New Mexico can tell you that man is bought and pay for and the price on his head is quite high. He is the true Lieberman of the Democratic Party.

His foreign policy experience dwarf''s that of Hillary''s. I live in Texas and vacation in New Mexico and Colorado every year. The people I''ve spoken with in New Mexico speak very highly of Richardson. My overall point is that Hillary isn''t qualified, I''m OK with another choice, even if it isn''t Richardson. Anyone but Hillary; I don''t trust her and her husband.

SOME people understand that in the heat of debate folks say things they don''''''''t necessarily mean.

Obama is a user and has done nothing but surround himself with experience and qualified individuals

Clearly you know little about good leadership skills. The leader sets the tone and defines the mission, surrounds himself with the most experienced and knowledgeable people available, delegates authority and expects the work to get done. That''s not ''using''; that''s SMART! I still say that Obama doesn''t want Hillary involved in the health care issue because what her plan called for was true universal coverage, and Obama''s plan insures more but not all and is more of a compromise with the medical profession, pharmaceutical companies, and insurance companies. SOOO given that Hillary is equally qualified to handle the position of Secretary of State, he would rather have her there doing the equally important job of representing his administration''s position internationally.

Well you I know it''''s rough on you folks in the "Party" to understand... LOL Course not EVERYONE holds things like this inside... on a PERSONAL basis... SOME people understand that in the heat of debate folks say things they don''''t necessarily mean. You poor losers do know there is a better way don''''t you??

I normally agree with most of your posts but this time I think you''re wrong. There is no way that president Obama should have Hillary as a Secretary of State. First, she really doesn''t have any REAL foreign policy experience. (Remember dodging bullets in Bosnia?) Secondly, would you want her at YOUR back? I don''t trust her at all and with her ego and that of her husbands''s, they''ll constantly be in the headlines. President Obama needs to clearly be in charge and be the voice of America. It''s him and him alone we elected; he needs team players like Bill Richardson, not a person with their own agenda and axes to grind like Hillary and her husband. The Clintons had there moment in the sun, and for what it''s worth, they did a decent job. Let president Obama do his job without any inside competition from his cabinet.

This has got to be a tough decision for Hillary. Take a high ranking position in the White House that would keep her in the spotlight while realizing if she did that Bill will again have access to the White House intern harem. Tough, tough decision. Good luck on that one Hillary.

Be kind of funny, if Hillary Clinton got the job of telling India and China that - contrary to her husband''s apparent beliefs - America simply cannot afford to constantly run massive trade deficits with them.

That sort of basic arithmetic seems to be a bit of a stretch for all of the neoliberals...and the Republicans, of course.

I think Obama''''s going to pick Hillary and I think things are going to be improving greatly in the next few years. Let''''s hope so anyway.

I wish Obama all the luck in the world, but if he chooses Hillary, there will three Presidents walking around and I think it will give him trouble before all is said and done.

That remains to be seen.

I await the first time we need help with something to see who our "allies" truely are.

LOL Man it can''t get much WORSE than it was with Bush. Course who could blame them... with all the LIES and acting like a Bar Room Bully, I fully understand why no one wanted to support Bush. I think Obama''s going to pick Hillary and I think things are going to be improving greatly in the next few years. Let''s hope so anyway.

It''''s not that she doesn''''t want the job, it''''s just that Hillary Clinton couldn''''t pass Obama''''s rigorous vetting questionaire...

...because she "inhaled", and their are too many skeletons in her closet.

Wow! You know all this how? Hey I''ll bet you have a Crystal Ball that tells you all this don''t you? Say would that be the SAME Crystal Ball that told you the Bush Administration would be a success? ROFLMAO
