Why do you keep posting that? Have you heard? McCain LOST--doesn''t matter how many counties voted for him---he''s toast--got it??? - Reply to this comment
- The bible is against me and I hate it?
When it talks about Gods chosen people I get mad as hell.
The Lord Jesus even quoted it to me when I tempted him in the wilderness and I had to flee?
The bible is the only place where it talks about Gods chosen people. I rather have any good than Gods absolute right and wrong?
Because self then rules by its own understanding with God not being in the picture?
My hope is that no one else will turn to Jesus as their sin bearer so that they can have eternal life here and there.
I influence peoples motives without them realizing it is me, the devil, thats doing it. - Reply to this comment
- Sickening. Joe Lieberman is a fine statesman. That''s why his constituents returned him to Washington. There was nothing that ''Coward'' Dean and the rest of the party could do. How embarrassing. He ran as an independent and WON! Everyone in the party is NOT on the Liberal Agenda Bandwagon. The sooner that those of you who are realize that you don''t own/control the party, the better off we''ll be. I feel MUCH MORE SECURE knowing that there are moderates like LIEBERMAN in the senate to keep the liberal side of our party from running wild.

- Those you have betrayed will be LEAVING IN DROVES. AND THERE"S NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT. THIS COUNTRY WILL DIE a deserving death at the mandibles of these greedy parasitic freaks, so a slap in the face is pretty much a moot point.

- "To reward Senator Lieberman with a major committee chairmanship would be a slap in the face of millions of Americans who worked tirelessly for Barack Obama and who want to see real change in our country," Sanders said in a statement on Friday. "Appointing someone to a major post who led the opposition to everything we are fighting for is not ''change we can believe in.''"
Oh, that''s alright. We''re used to be slapped in the face by our own Democrat representatives, the people we work hard to put in office. I personally enjoy seeing my more than I can afford contributions to the DNC turned into haughty arrogant elitist pleas by Democrats to forgive and forget, to move on, to take impeachment off the table, to reach across the aisle in bipartisanship and get pissed back in the face with ruthless, our way or NO WAY minority Republicans who could give a *** about democracy. Yes the history of CONSTANTLY getting SLAPPED in the face and BETRAYED by the Democrats we vote in office, not for "change", but for on the brink of survival of what these REPUBLICAN PARASITES have taken and done to this country. We vote you in office to CRUSH THESE PARASITES, and you slap us in the face OVER AND OVER AGAIN.
But that''s all right, because we don''t need you anymore. We needed just less of them, and a WORLD that sides with us. - Reply to this comment
- That is almost funny! You people provide weapons of death to the Zionists every day so they may kill the Palestinians and steal their land. You have NEVER been even handed - always pro-Zionist. The fighting would stop if the Zionists did not have weapons. Ever think of that?

I think the problem is we dont understand the beheading of innocent people, the suppression of womens rights, the Gassing of Kurd civilians, and even 9/11. We believe in a peaceful God and are unwilling to arm those who believe in violence against civilians. We can be convinced but it doesnt seem to me that the countries you support are as open minded or even willing to try to convince us in non-violent ways.
I respect the muslim religion. I think Mhatma Ghandi was a muslim (not sure, doesnt matter). But I abhor violence against civilians, violence without warning, and stubborn self promotion. - Reply to this comment

I am amazed at the fear and hatred held by 1.6 billion Muslim against Isreal with a total: 7,282,000 (Jewish/Arab population. Never have so few, made so many pee their pants in abject terror. Maybe Allah isn''t as strong as they think he is. If he were, his ''chosen ones'' would not fear anyone. Israel is not scared, I (a Christian) am not scared. Why is Islam so scared?????? Scared of 7,282,000 Israelis!!!!!!!!! - Reply to this comment
- I don''''t think it''''s going to get better. The fact that they have actually stated feeling this way on print says a lot. I can understand them "thinking" this, but actually saying it? Wow. What hypocrits.

My hope is that things will get better after we get over the election and the uncertainty a new administration will bring. This was a very emotional election where charisma and predjudice were confronted head on. Obama was not forced to reveal details of his plans yet he promises "change" and "hope" which are not defined at all. This leaves many people confused and that often promotes blind anger. Since they dont know what their country is going to do, they cling to their party instead.
My hope is that we get over this quickly, that Obama clarifies his plans, and we can debate where our coutry is going, not why "that guy is ...."
anyway, I plan to think and talk like that. Change starts with me. - Reply to this comment
- Yeah, thats what it seems to be saying. So are many others. Crazy isnt it. Party first, nation second. I hope this ends soon.

- So I guess what this article is saying is that Lieberman is lucky he didn''''t get the boot for voting his beliefs instead of his party? Wow. How patriotic of CBS. I thought we were always told not to vote our party, to vote for what you believed was right? I don''''t get people that are mad at Lieberman for voting his beliefs. I don''''t get it. So, if Lieberman believed that Obama was a socialist and did not agree with his plans for America, he should still vote for him because they share the same party? Again, I don''''t get it.

OK, we can throw out the bad apples. But I am not an apple and I am neither good nor bad. Perhaps there are ways to change me so I can change you and together we can be better than we are now. But, of course, I cant do that alone. - Reply to this comment
- he''s only granted access because he''s needed to create the Senate the Democrats need to sweep the Republicans under the carpet. If they knew for sure they could do without him....he''d be gone. the only thing that will help the Republicans now is if 3 or 4 Democrats drop dead.

- Can I ask you a simple question?
Why is it that most people who are against Obama want him to fail? Hell I have seen people say assassinate him on Jan 20.

I shortened your post to stay under 1500 char.
It seems to me that Obama does get a lot of undue criticism. But so does Bush and McCain.
I have issues and concerns for Obama but I wish him well. I see the possibility he could be a great president and I hope he is. It will be good for all of us if he is.
But wishing him well does not stop me from criticizing where I see fit. I just do it in civil manner and with reason. I think that promotes thoughtful dialogue with the possibility of bringing our country together. Change starts with me.
I ignore the name callers until we can be civil. Then I am open to any views.
We HAVE to pay taxes. Economists will tell you that government is, by itself, a tax on the people. If you dont pay them taxes, they simply print money and water down the value of the money you have (tax by inflation). So, if you want low taxes, you need small government. - Reply to this comment
- If you believe every word Obama says you are more dumb than the D that stands for "Dumb A-- Democrat" What idiots- United States of America is nothing more than an illusion of political falseness and pretty promises..why do you think the country is in the mess it is in?
