Sarah Palin only brought up the Ayers issue to distract voters from her stupidity displayed on the Katie Couric interview. She was trying to get away from her dumb Caribou Barbie image by becoming an attack dog.

How lame.

of course not. why would anyone hold blowing up police stations, killing a cop, loading bombs with nails, and attempting to blow up the pentagon against him?

Ayers did those things, not Obama. Obama does not share in Ayers''s guilt, regardless of how well they knew each other decades later !

It''s really not too terribly difficult to "distance" yourself from somebody that you never actually knew to begin with.

The whole Ayers-Obama "connection" thing was obviously never anything more than a Republican desperation tactic; typical nasty GOP innuendo with absolutely NO real substance to it at all.

Thankfully the majority of American voters quickly and easily saw right through that pathetic silliness.

Exactly-- and why would anyone call John McCain on his relationship with Gordon Liddy or Sarah Palin on her relationship with the Alaska Independence Party who hate America so much that they want to leave to become their own country. The leader of AIP died in a plastic explosives sale gone bad before he was able to denounce the U.S. at the U.N. with the backing of... wait.. IRAN!! And these are the people that McCain and Palin call good guys.

Hey McSamiacs, stop the whinning and suck it up.

America REJECTED Palin because she thought a plane from Russia flying over the state of Alaska gives you ''foreign policy'' experience.

America REJECTED junkyard dogs Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity and Ayers was NEVER EVER an issue...EVER!!!!!

Alaska:
rape capital of the United States
extremely high dropout rates
extremely low literacy rates
extremely low level of college graduates

=
Any dumb sh*t can become a mayor or Governor in Alaska.

There isn''t much competition up there among the 660,000 barely educated population. Why don''t you just imagine for a moment what Palin''s future would have been if she lived among educated people?

It''s easy to shine among the dullest tools in the shed. But if she had been down here where smart, beautiful women are ubiquitous, she could hardly get elected to the school council much less a mayor or *cough* Governor.

Heck, they just re-elected a felon to the Senate. Shows some REAL brain power going on over there in the senate.

Oh.. and I love your personal little jab when you know nothing of my life. But, you are a fan of Sarah Palin who had no substance therefore resorted to baseless attacks. That is what rednecks do: Attack when they''ve been outsmarted.

It must be nice to hire people to do work for you but take all the credit.

-That is what Barack is doing right now, selecting experience to prop himself up

So you see, "experience" means nothing when it was all a failure.

-Barack''s Chicago community organization is his experience and that is an obvious failure.

Palin =
PTA
City Council
Mayor
Govenor
Vice Presidential Candidate

Climbing that ladder is probably better than anything you''ve ever done, is that paper sack over your head to blind you to such achievements?

Bush''s tenure as President proves that "executive experience" means diddley.

And Palin has proven that being the Governor of Alaska takes no real brain power at all. It must be nice to hire people to do work for you but take all the credit.

So you see, "experience" means nothing when it was all a failure. I have experience changing the tires on my car but that doesn''t make me any good at it.

Clovis, you seem like a nice guy and I really am happy for you about Barack, but I have to mention that your two posts about Palin''s work in Alaska has proven (without my typing a word) that she is more experienced than Barack. Also, I don''t listen to talk radio, ever.

You''re right-- proof is in the pudding. John McCain and Sarah Palin couldn''t even handle doing well in school or really getting much of an education at all.

You''ve heard of Google, right? It''s probably one of the best companies on the planet. Google won''t hire someone who''s worked for IBM for 15 years because they don''t need crusty, old ideas. Google hires people straight out of Tier 1 schools with no experience at all. No wonder they''re the leader in innovation. No wonder they''re not sinking like Yahoo.

And this is what our country needs: Innovation.. fresh ideas and new ways to do things.

We weren''t going to get that from McCain and we certainly couldn''t get that from Palin who could barely think her way out of a paper sack.

Where are all your paragraphs about Barack''s success as a community organizer? I realize you are very proud of him, therefore, shouldn''t you be basing all your arguements on all these "proven successes"? Please inform us about Barack if he was so great in Chicago, I''m sure you can provide all the fine examples of his work. Sure, he can pump people up, but the proof is in the pudding and I haven''t seen any of that. The media only showed him patting people on the back, I want to see the shining examples of these improved communities.

err the facts listed below make it easy to balance a stae budget ..michigan and illinois dont have that luxury .. and most of the new revenues were brought in by a "windfalls profit tax " on oil co.s, ..makes it easier to be against it at a national level ..when the home base has already taken its "dip""Alaska collected an estimated $6 billion from the new tax during the fiscal year that ended June 30, according to the Alaska Oil and Gas Association. That helped push the state''s total oil revenue %u2014 from new and existing taxes, as well as royalties %u2014 to more than $10 billion, double the amount received last year.
While many other states are confronting big budget deficits because of the troubled economy, Alaska officials are in the enviable position of exploring new ways to spend the state''s multibillion-dollar budget surplus.
Some of that new cash will end up in the wallets of Alaska''s residents.
Palin''s administration last week gained legislative approval for a special $1,200 payment to every Alaskan to help cope with gas prices, which are among the highest in the country.
That check will come on top of the annual dividend of about $2,000 that each resident could receive this year from an oil-wealth savings account".... reformer not so much .. good spinner ... par excellent .

ironic that Alaska is the only state in the nation that isn''''''''t already in, or facing, a recession. You might want to compare her results with the 13th district of Chicago that Obama represented.

lol, yeh right, let''''s see the wonderful results of the "community organizer" for Chicago. C''''mon people, let''''s see the examples of these successful communities Barack helped. We have examples of Sarah''''s success, where is yours other than the media bought election. Oh that''''s right, you still have mud in your eyes from the "slide".
Posted by promaclaura at 10:51 PM : Nov 14, 2008but in 2008 alone Gov. Palin requested $256 million in earmarks for Alaska, and her state received more earmarks per person that any other state," said spokesman Tommy Vietor. "The fact is that Governor Palin isn%u2019t just good at getting pork projects, she%u2019s one of the most successful pork barrel politicians in history."
Alaska has indeed been spectacularly successful in getting earmarks, largely through the efforts of its senior senator, Ted Stevens, who is now fighting corruption charges. (Stevens%u2019 requests include far more than those listed by Palin.) And Palin%u2019s office has actively backed some of its legislators%u2019 requests, according to the document, which covers requests for the fiscal years of 2008 and 2009.
