"In his book "The Choice," Washington Post reporter Bob Woodward described how Clinton consulted with a spiritual adviser who led her through imaginary conversations with her personal hero, Eleanor Roosevelt."

More hypocritical DOUBLE STANDARDS. When Nancy Reagan did it, she was called a "kook." When Hillary Clinton did EVEN MORE, she was a "feminist" or something.

You really have to wonder about a political party that has to be so devious...

Notice how now that he''''s in, he''''s "mutt". Last week he was "black", "making history". What hypocrite. He used the blacks and laughed while they cried as a half-white man was elected. Too much. Now he''''s already insulting conservatives, making fun of them. What an immature, inexperienced man. He''''s going to make fun of Nancy Reagan, I''''ll bet he doesn''''t make fun of his terrorist friends.

HAHAHA....
Insult republicans....I think you need to start examining what that means anymore. If anyone has insulted and made a laughing stock of republican policies......It`s BUSH!!!!

Test; Go up to anyone that`s not republican and just tell them you are one. The first you will hear is the anger and resentment towards Bush and what you guys have done to the country. I bet you a million you will not hear anyone say Obama is the one putting you guys in bad light, you doing that great on your own.

I will tell you what%u2019s wrong with them. It`s simple. It%u2019s like having a child and being proud of that child, thinking that child s going to grow up and change the world. Thinking your child is going to bring greatness and prosperity to the world only to find out that he grows up to become a rapist and a liar. Your child gets convicted and as the news starts to set in, the human psyche starts to rationalise the trauma. You start saying....well everyone has done something wrong in their life, we all have demons, it was the pressure he was in, and he got dealt tuff cards. You start to compare your child to other children. You start to magnify every step someelse%u2019s child does in a relentless effort to make yourself feel good about the actions of your child. After all, he is still your child and you cannot disown him no more than you can disown your right arm.
The shame bush brings to all that believe in republican policies is undeniable, and even worst they cannot believe someone else is helping that young lady holding the torch that he raped back to her feet. After all, every child`s actions stem from the beliefs and ideology of their parents.

The human brain accepts and stores all ideas and judges them by their associations. It does not score them as true or false although it may record them as associated with those labels along with other labels and other ideas.

Because of this it is common for people to believe in a good Christian God, an evil Satan, ghosts, astrology, numerology, lucky rabbits feet, quantum mechanics, general relativity, and the power of positive thinking at various times and often at the same time.

Ain''t life wonderful!

A President who actually recognizes an error and apologizes for it. Boy, we haven''t seen that for awhile.

Why haven''t all of you neocon nuts out there been complaining about the mistakes that your hero has made over the past eight years that have killed a million human beings and bankrupted this country?

You want to see a mistake? Look in the mirror.

Perfectly manifests what he does without the teleprompter or a prepared speech. Open mouth, insert foot....

And yet you were prepared to have McCain and Palin in the WH.

He apologized--get over it.

Sorry if the truth hurts

Did he lie, no Ronnie & Nancy had a "court astrologer" and she admitted years ago that "Ronnie" used astrology predictions for making major policy decisions. He and she were "B" movies actors from California, there are mostly fruits and nuts out there. I mean his biggest co-star was the monkey in "Bedtime For Bonzo".

Obama quickly apologized to this old Hollywood tramp. End of story. 4000 troops dead. A trillion dollars wasted. Al Qaeda resurgent in Afghanistan. Debt exploded. Economy in shambles. No Bush apology is in the works for any of these things. Get perspective Cons or you''ll keep losing elections.

What a smug little man he is. This is only the beginning. He has no experience and apparently no character either.

Posted by hollybb2 at 11:39 PM : Nov 07, 2008

You show yourself to be MORE smug and to have LESS character by not accepting that the man has apologized.

What is wrong with people like you? So hateful.

You base this on? ONE silly statement during a press conference and YOU are wanting to throw our hope for the future over the edge? No wonder YOU thought George Bush was a great President. LOL

Obama makes a huge gaffe so to cover himself he throws someone else under the bus, Nancy Reagan.

And the FACT is Nancy never had seances but Hillary Clinton did.

And the self-righteous liberals are out here defended this?

It''''s seems like this is really "undefenseable"

Posted by perceptions5 at 07:34 AM : Nov 08, 2008

Oh come on! Get over the election will ya? It was funny and everyone laughed. It was also, insensitive to the former first lady and that was dealt with. This is our leader and our hope for the future. Let''s give him all the support we can....

LOL After Bush and "Trickle Down", I doubt the people will be quite so quick to change in the future... Well when it comes to the direction of our Government.

I personally found the remark funny but I can understand how some may have been offended. It was classy of Obama to call and apologize. Aside from that though it was great to see and hear a news conference that wasn''t staged. A news conference where the President Elect took the questions and answered them.

BTW.... Irmcvet97 History has proven that One Party Rule NEVER lasts long.

Posted by OneWayRight at 07:10 AM

That may be true and times are relative but another 32 years of Democratic rule such as that that followed Herbert Hoover should be just about right to fix the mess being left by George Bush and his friends.
