Congress you should be ashamed of yourselves.The first thing you need to do is reopen the 911 investigation and do it completely in the peoples eyes not hiding anything.If the events happened like the government says , why do they not show us a video of a 757 hitting the pentagon? That building has more video security than any other building in the world yet, they don''t have ONE single video confirming what they have said happened? I find that a little hard to believe.If that was a lie, then how much more of the story was lies? Americans have paid a high price because of 911, to not be given the truth and to sacrifice lives as we have done is unacceptable.As long as we continue to remain silent and not demand the truth we betray those who were murdered.It was a sham story we were told and if president elect Obama really preaches change lets see it done, for a change , we want the real truth to be known so those really responsible can be brought to justice.

I guess the party line voters are waking up now and seeing the same old scenario as usual after the election,The lies and promises were told and now they are back in and you, the voter are old news now , used and discarded.The best is yet to come folks, as the scene turns back to "economic crisis", Congress will now rush to save the world, Corporate world that is.they still have ink and paper at the treasury so they can fix anything Right?...NOT.Congratulations,you have been had again people.Looks like the same old horse and pony game is still alive and well,just the other sides turn to hold the top rung of the ladder.After either 4 or 8 more years the other side will start their lies to take back over.Amazing these two parties keep telling the same lies each time and the people keep going back for more.The bottom line is a reality, the voters have never and will never be represented by either the democrats or the republicans, only used.Both parties are so corrupted by the lobby dollar that until it is outlawed we will never be represented.

I am sickened that Barack has put Jennifer Granholm front and center in his group of economic experts. First, Jenny is NOT an economic expert, she s u c ks, six years as Govenor in Michigan and we have chaos. Sure, the auto industry/union created their own bed, but when everything hit the fan Granholm increased spending and raised our taxes, soooo STUPID. Are we loosing jobs to Mexico anymore? No, we are loosing them to other states like Indiana, who has lower taxes and looks more inviting to job-creating businesses. What an incredible joke and everyone in Michigan are flabbergasted by Jenny''s new role, Barack''s showing poor judgement already.

Ps We''ll be glad to see Jenny go, but I feel bad about Barack forcing her on the rest of the country.

I guess after 8 years of George Bush, it''s easy to make statements like this. Those of us who KNOW Obama and whom he has represented for years, can tell you it means EXACTLY what it says. He''s taking the weekend off and the Press should NOT look for any stories or news releases from him or his aids! Don''t worry you''ll get used to it! It''s amazing how fast people like Bush will fade into the past!

Phil Gramm also DEREGULATED banks. Gramm/Leah/Bliley Act of 1999 rolled back protections put in place after the Great Depression.

When''s the last time the Republican''s had control of the White House, Senate and Congress? In the DERGULATION period right before the Great Depression!

In the late 1980'' the housing market here went soft. Then in the early 90''s the market went soft again. Out $200K home dropped $40K, Employers were down sizing, jobs were being send overseas to hire folks for less then 1/4 of a US worker. In my area this cycle went on for most of the 1990s. The only difference is that people were buying-selling-buying homes like crazy, driving up home prices. In 1998 the place were I worked had the biggest layoff in its history. Over 1/2 the plant site in 2 states lost jobs. Freddy Mac and his sister were lending and banks were being forced to lend big $$$$ to those that could not afford to make house payments.

The greed of the Fanny and Freddy''s top execs, CO of company''s like IBm, Apple, Seagate and other as well. Then those that invested in homes for interest only loans driving the housing to inflated market prices. They would borrow on the equity of 1 home to buy another and then anothers. Driving the price out of the average home buyers ability to make payments.

It was Greed of Wall Street, Freddy - Fanny top execs, congress and housing invertors that caused this mess.
