- Well we will see if Obama can live up to everything he has said and if he does all the Americans out there that have worked their butts off to make a buisness for themselves and the jobs those people provide to others will more than likely be dust in the wind. But dont get me wrong Obama is a man that is HALF BLACK and I have n othing against any race of men but the things he is proposing is going to tear this country apart and bankrupt millions while giving to the ones who DON''T work.

- Don''''t get me wrong not all muslims support violence but any presidential elect that will not take the oath to run this country using the Bible doesn''''t need to be in the GREAT US of A. The same US of A I served in the USMC. This country was founded on christian beliefs and needs to stay that way. So all I have left to say it is a sad day that a non christian is in the whitehouse.

FYI,
Obama was sworn into his Senate office using his personal Bible, not a Koran. The only person who has ever been sworn into office using a Koran was Keith Ellison who is a practicing Muslim. - Reply to this comment
- I am SOOOOO disappointed with the comments I have seen posted here. I am actually ashamed because the comments posted on here are so negative and just down right ugly.. Yes, John McCain is a great man and was a great candidate, but obviously America has spoken. Why can''t we all respect that? Both candidates presented great arguments on why they should be president. We should be more optimistic than pessimist. We need to stop making this a race issue because it is not. That type thinking is outdated. Obama is a MAN who happens to be black. The MAN that will be running our country. Obama has ran a great race, beginning to end. GIVE CREDIT WHERE CREDIT IS DUE!!!! Now that we know that Obama will be running our nation, we as the USA need to all rally behind him, no matter our color, gender, or ethnicity. God Bless both Obama and McCain and God Bless America.

- He was overwhelming elected because he is a democrat not a repulican. A patriot not he does not consider the American flag being American, he is the commander and chief of what, AMERICA.

- We certainly have a diverse collection of wack job haters in this forum. You actually believe the stuff your saying. Wow! Obama is as a patriot, and a true American that has rebuked your hateful, fearful rhetoric by being overwhelmingly elected President. Your cancerous ideology is dying. Hopefully you don''t infect your kids with such hate. The world is changing, and you guys are still in the 50''s. Grow up.

- I am ashamed with ALL the OBAMA supporters they must not be true Christians. If they want a Muslim in office they can move to the middle east and put up with all those crzy people. Don''t get me wrong not all muslims support violence but any presidential elect that will not take the oath to run this country using the Bible doesn''t need to be in the GREAT US of A. The same US of A I served in the USMC. This country was founded on christian beliefs and needs to stay that way. So all I have left to say it is a sad day that a non christian is in the whitehouse.

- Jodster6-I want to thank you and your family for your sons service. I talk to veterans and they are all proud of the service and would go back to finish the job they believe in, protecting America.I agree that Obama will befriend the people that hate America the most. I hope America knows what it is doing!

- Plastpro,
Obama may sound like John Kennedy, but he''s nothing like the John Kennedy I remember bein gin the White House long ago. I fear John Kennedy has definitely turned over is his grave from being compared to Obama. God rest John Kennedy''s soul tonight from your slam. - Reply to this comment
- Obama is going to let everyone down, including the military. He will send our boys/girls out but tie their hands and not let them protect themselves or our country and they and we will all die.He is not and never will be another JFK.He is not good enough to fill the shoes of many of our good presidents out there, let alone spit on those shoes. He will totally ruin our country in many ways!

- I''m going to repeat myself.....
You know, after all this time, a person would think that at least some of the red state, right-wingers would learn to listen to someone besides Fox news or would learn to search out information from independent sources. So many of the lies told about Obama and McCain have been exposed AS lies on sites like Snopes.com and Factcheck.com. Why can''''t people simply go to those sites and learn the truth about both sides?
