- I thought Clinton was OK. But what did he do or didn''''t do that honked off the Muslims so bad that they started planning 911?- posted by questionnews
NOTHING. Clinton did NOTHING WHATSOEVER to provoke the 9/11 attack.
Which disproves the theory that the current attacks on U.S. forces are occurring because we provoked them, and if we would just "leave them alone" they''d stop attacking us.
WE WERE LEAVING THEM ALONE when they started planning the 9/11 attack. Which proves that the "kicking their butts" policy works MUCH BETTER than the "leave them alone" policy. - Reply to this comment
- Absolute power corrupts absolutely. That is what the rebulican majority did. What do you creeps think a Democratic majority will do?

The same thing they ALWAYS do:
- Pledge to improve the economy and create jobs
- Pledge to help the poor
- Pledge to develop alternative energy sources to reduce our dependence on foreign oil
- Pledge to rebuild the public trust in government by upholding the highest standards of integrity
What they REALLY do is
- Get drunk
- Chase women
- Kill a few people and say it was an accident
- Take bribes and illegal favors
- Get killed in plane crashes because they hired the CHEAPEST pilot instead of the most qualified one
- Get voted out of office and replaced by Republicans when the public gets totally disgusted by their disgraceful behavior and their utter failure to do ANY of the things they pledged to do
- Take the credit for anything good that happens to occur (even though they had nothing to do with it) and blame the Republicans for anything bad that happens (even though THEY had nothing to do with it)
The WORST President in history was James Buchanan - look it up, he was the Democrat who was in office before Abraham Lincoln. Lincoln was a Republican.
THAT''S what Democrats do the best - get replaced by Republicans. - Reply to this comment
- Cool we can have more Democrats in Congress that rubberstamp anything that comes their way, just like the present Democratic Congress has done. And then they can whine and complain after they do it, just like this spineless collection of idiots. Yup, just what we need.

The Muslims must conquer the world over to Islam. They are permitted to kill, lie and plunder to achieve this end.
What Clinton did was reject God. When God is honored in a nation, God protects that nation. Clinton dishonored God by promoting homosexuality and abortion. - Reply to this comment
- McCain is tested and proven. The only test Obama had was when his teleprompter failed and he couldn''''t make his point, called an asthmatic''''s inhalator a "breathalizer", and other fumbles... then made excuses about sleep and blamed the audience for being loud- when one guy cheered.
Bama - it''''s the word in the Bible that means "high idolatry". After that occurs in Ezekiel, all the Christians are tested.
You dems think Obama is not going to do what Bush did? Obama is bought and paid for long ago. His home- paid by others. Campaign- paid by others. He took the real big money from super-large contributors at the end- after he already told everyone that half the money is from small donations. - Reply to this comment
- We need a huge Democratic majority in Congress as well as the Presidency. We now all know what the Republicons want for their party of war and death and spending.
More war, spying, torture and suspension of the Rule of Law and the Constitution. Even more money for war and their rich corporate crime buddies. Religion in schools and in the government. Vote OBAMA AND THE DEMOCRATS. Stop the spread of Christian Fascism. - Reply to this comment
- 3 types of people voting for McCain!
Super-rich (CEO''s who''ve ripped off everyone, bankers who require a 700 billion bailouts, and wallstreet pros who''d sell everyone down the river ot pad their pockets 1st)
Super-stupid (the masses who get their "news" from
FOX News)
Super-religous (the evangelicans who will vote
purely on roe vs: wade and anti-gay)
the rpeublicans do not care about Americva, only themselves. They do not care about the fact that the majority of workers in this country make less now then in the 70''s and pay more in taxes and healthcare.... and have seen their retirement plans get devoured by wallstreet, and greedy corproations who rape pension plans and ship jobs overseas tobenefit themsleves)
coulds anything be more evil then a republican - Reply to this comment

It was because of the first Iraqi invasion when our troops were in Saudia Araba that ticked off the right wing Muslims nut cases not the Saudia''s. That was first Bush not Clinton and yes, Clinton was a great President. - Reply to this comment
- Bill Clinton was a great president and times were good.
92-00 was a golden age in America and 00-08 has been a dark time.

- THE BOTTOM LINE:
The IQ test for voters is whether Barney Frank, the chief architect of the "affordable housing" subprime mortgage meltdown, gets re-elected in spite of the devastating destruction of our economy that he, personally, has caused.
Barney Frank did more than any other individual to cause our current economic crisis. Barney Frank is EXACTLY the kind of poor leader that voting is intended to reject from public office.
Are the voters smart enough to vote out the man who is STILL holding the lit match after the house burned down?
We''ll see by tomorrow. - Reply to this comment
- Yes they just don''t have enough jack@ss worthless Dems in Congress as of now. A few more of them will be the very ticket we need to get this Change and Hope. I keep hearing yes we can, yes we will etc etc minus the details about what it is we CAN do and how it will be done. Just saying yes we can doesn''t mean a *** thing.

- txgrouch2007: I am an Independent who voted for Obama. I was a life long Republican until 1992. Like you, I can''t stand the political scene in America and I want meaningful change for the common good. Self-serving policies, lies and deceptions have destroyed our trust in our faith, our economy and our government. Enough is enough. I''m long past ready for change.

THAT''S what I call "stupid."
Flip-flopping from one band if criminals to the other every four or eight years isn''t going to solve anything.
And that''s why I remind folks that BOTH sides are to blame in this.
But you can''t seem to understand the word "both."
So I''ll add my old sign off:
BUSH IS TO BLAME
AND CLINTON IS TO BLAME
AND BUSH IS TO BLAME
AND CLINTON IS TO BLAME
AND BUSH IS TO BLAME
AND CLINTON IS TO BLAME
AND BUSH IS TO BLAME
Does THAT clear anything up for you? No? It figures. - Reply to this comment
- You said earlier you were voting for Obama.
Posted by doorgunner2 at 03:28 PM : Nov 04, 2008
Maybe that''s what''s confusing you.
I voted for Obama. I DIDN''T vote Democrat. And I DIDN''T vote Republican, either.
But your mind seems locked in on either one party or the other. So you can''t understand that.
And I''m STILL waiting for you to criticize any of the anti-GOP posts that are flying around here. - Reply to this comment
- Although I think McCain would make the better president Obama would make a good president.. The real problem with Obama winning is Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid. Those two are the biggest lunatics I have ever seen. They are far more left even then Obama is. The Congress really does need a counterweight to these two left wingnuts.
