Anyone who furthers this story is acting at the political level. The story has no other merit - and little there as well.

Compare this with the way the records of Bush and McCain themselves have been protected by the government and the media. CBS fired people who delt in stories about Bush himself and limited exposure of stories about Reagan.

Sure is a lot of hate going being spewed on this blog, and I''m not sure why. I think its legitimate to bring up Barack Obama''s past associations, but I have a real problem with the name-calling and rhetoric going around. The Good Lord himself hung out with prostitutes and tax collects, and we don''t label Him by His associations. I don''t understand why an otherwise legit argument is eroded with the type of hate that seems to be coming from many on this blog.

Look, I don''t know much about this aunt thing, but I can''t account for all my family either? Why is it a big deal that one of his broke the law and stayed in the country? I''d be concerned if he thought that she should have the right to stay, but since he didn''t, what''s the problem? She''s the one that''s been abusing the system. This whole guilt by association thing is one of the reasons McCain/Palin are behind in the polls, and if you''ve actually read the polls yourself, I think its been a consistent lead for Obama/Biden for a while.

I''m tired of people trying to BS their way in the White House. Stop talking about this guilt by association thing, and tell me how we''re going to deal with the real problems in the country. Who cares about his aunt, but I will vote for McCain just because of Obama''s past associations. McCain isn''t great, but I trust him alot more. Who cares if Obama "confronts the issues", he is racist and associates with terrorists. He mingles with other countries and the UN too much!! This could seriously be the beginning of what some have called a New World Order!! seriously look at the signs!! not just the ISSUES!!!
