Democrat Says Rival Chose To Abandon High Road Of Past Campaigns; McCain Presses For Votes In Ohio
- Obama said in April that only those making less than 75k would get tax relief. http://www.businessweek.com/magazine/content/08_15/b4079017876246_page_2.htm The WSJ article says below that taxing the over 250k crowd will not pay for Obama''s programs.http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122463231048556587-email.htmlIn 2006, the latest year for which we have Census data, 220 million Americans were eligible to vote and 89 million -- 40% -- paid no income taxes. According to the Tax Policy Center (a joint venture of the Brookings Institution and the Urban Institute), this will jump to 49% when Mr. Obama''s cash credits remove 18 million more voters from the tax rolls. What''s more, there are an additional 24 million taxpayers (11% of the electorate) who will pay a minimal amount of income taxes -- less than 5% of their income and less than $1,000 annually. In all, three out of every five voters will pay little or nothing in income taxes under Mr. Obama''s plans and gain when taxes rise on the 40% that already pays 95% of income tax revenues. The plunder that the Democrats plan to extract from the "very rich" -- the 5% that earn more than $250,000 and who already pay 60% of the federal income tax bill -- will never stretch to cover the expansive programs Mr. Obama promises. What next?

- The US Supreme Court will order possibly Monday for both side to present their case, the High-Court will either order a copy of Barack Obama''''''''s "VAULTED COPY" of his birth certificate from the State of Hawaii or order Obama''''''''s Lawyer to have it with them the day of the case. Remember a "Stay" of the Election is in effect and the November 4th election willnot go forward with any counting of the votes until the matter is settle with the Court.

Actually the US Supreme Court can not stay a presidential Election that falls to Congress. Beside the Twentieth Amendment already provide for this possibility.
The Twentieth Amendment provides,
%u201Cif the President elect shall have failed to qualify, then the Vice President elect shall act as President until a President shall have qualified; and the Congress may by law provide for the case wherein neither a President elect nor a Vice President elect shall have qualified, declaring who shall then act as President, or the manner in which one who is to act shall be elected, and such person shall act accordingly until a President or Vice President shall have qualified.%u201D - Reply to this comment
- You see they run and hide in the face of the truth. It is your McCain who is clearly not eligible to vote. Barack is just too decent a guy to question the eligibility of a member of a family that has military service dating back to George Washington. Nevertheless, for you citizen bashing, anything goes Republicans, your MAVERICK WAR HERO MAVERICK WAR HERO MAVERICK WAR HERO MAVERICK WAR HERO MAVERICK WAR HERO MAVERICK WAR HERO MAVERICK WAR HERO leader is technically NOT eligible to run for president. That''s the only fact.

Ok Berg has been trying this for a long time, he was denied and nothing more will come of this.
Obama has been vetted over and over and nothing of any substance has been found.
IF there were anything to this,ie: a stay of the election, it would be all over the national news.
Berg apparently has an issue he has to live with, until something else comes along.
By the way, you said yesterday, Berg filed on 10/30. - Reply to this comment
- But they will not do this in one day.

They won''t do it at all. Just because you bring something to the Supreme Court, it doesn''t mean they hear it. No judge has agreed with him - the Supreme Court certainly isn''t going steal another election. - Reply to this comment

- Here''s the difference between Senator Obama and McCain; it is a matter of established law that John McCain is not eligible to run for president. Obama doesn''t even "go there." Instead, we have to deal with lies an deceit about Obama''s eligibility. My God you Republicans make me ill sometimes. Have you no decency? Have you not one iota of decency?

You honestly think the US Supreme Court will deign to listen to this idiot and grant a stay on the election?? They won''t even agree to give this jerk a hearing. - Reply to this comment
- McCain will end with attacks, all right. But what happened to all the talk by the McCain camp about Khalidi?? Oh, that''s right - after the story broke that McCain gave Khalidi $450,000+, all of a sudden Khalidi wasn''t such a bad guy any more, and the story went away. What a bunch of idiots.
