Kay Hagan is articulate, smart with tons of energy and all of that is going to translate into North Carolina finally having 2 effective US Senators representing the state. Kay has gone out of her way for the last 10 years to bring in as many high-paying jobs to North Carolina during the downturns in textile and furniture sectors. She works on enticing high tech companies to her state and she is a HUGE supporter of the military troops (she has to be, she has family members in harms way!).

Dole is a dead stick in the mud she should not have gone on this type of attack.

Fear is just p.i.s.s.i.n.g. off the swing voter.

It should not matter is she is an aetheist. But it is sad that anyone should spread such a lie...oh sorry forgot Ms. Dole is a republican. Lies have a different understanding in that party.
In response to one of the posts: If you supported Hillary, how can you support someone who stands against everything she stood for? If you were just a gender voter than how sad for you and the country.

Elizabeth Dole ought to hang her head in shame!!! How dare she attack her political opponent, Kay Hagan, on the basis of religion!!! As an educated woman, surely she is aware that one of the basic principles of this great country of ours is religious freedom???? This also includes the choice not to have a religion. John Adams was an atheist. Would she have attacked Ms. Hagan if she were a Buddhist? Or Hindu? Or followed the Native American tradition? None of those religions share the Judeo-Christian concept of god.
To attack someone on the grounds that they are an atheist and therefore have a different religious view point than oneself is a very vile and cowardly thing to do. It attacks a fundamental American freedom. We are free in this country to worship god, or not worship god, in any manner we chose, our wise founding fathers gave us this rite. By attacking someone for their religious belief, Elizabeth Dole is trying to revoke the right of religious freedom.
I really hope Kay Hagan wins her lawsuit and the election!!!

haha, I always find this sort of thing to be quite hilarious. This is the sort of issue you''d expect to see rearing it''s head in the internal politics of, say, countries like Iran, Pakistan, or Saudi Arabia. Nice to see how far we''ve progressed since the Middle Ages. We must expose the heretic! ((*snicker*)) ..We need a full-time Inquisition PAC!

I thought she was better than that, but she is as bad as her bitter old husband. I hope she loses like he did to Clinton.

Dole is a typical Republican in that she thinks she''s above the law. She was to stop running the ad by noon but allowed it to continue. I hope she faces a stiff penalty for this violation. What makes her holier than thou?
Her scumbag campaign spokesman called it "a silly political gimmick." If these morons faced heavy penalties for spewing such garbage, maybe they wouldn''t commit these violations.
And they wonder why voters are so turned off by politics! I hope she loses this race!!
