McCain opted in to Public financing before the Obama''''''''s promised discussion even took place. When it comes to being naive in negotiations I say McCain proved he is not the president for tough negotiations when he makes unilateral moves instead of negotiating for better terms BEFORE ACTING IMPULSIVELY.

Asked and Answered, that doesn''''t excuse Obama for breaking a written agreement, unless your saying our president needs to be a really good lair.

The written statement specifically states a discussion in the full statement after the word -- yes -- where you stopped reading. - Reply to this comment

- Truth Finally Revealed - John McCain is a socialist too - John McCain was for spreading the Wealth until recently. He changed his position conveniently as political ploy and to get your votes. I know poor "Joe the Plumber" will be heart broken when he finds out the truth the John McCain is the real socialist. (Watch it for yourself)

Does it discuss McCain''s welfare-like refundable tax credit for Health Care or is that another example? - Reply to this comment

horse manure. Obama said he would take public financing and broke his word. There''''s no spin you can spin to change that.

- But Obama is increasin no income taxes and controlled spending -- the tax reversal of the Bush Tax Cuts are because the Republicans made those Tax cuts TEMPORARY -- THEY EXPIRE NATURALLY. One of the outcomes of the election will determine the voters choice as to how to target future spending including the spending associated with tax cuts.
Posted by misha128 at 10:34 PM : Oct 29, 2008
At the time Bush passed that tax cut John voted no to it. Now he said that since the economy has adjusted to the cut he would leave them in place.
Bush did allot of BIG things that John did not vote for. The famous 90% quote that Obama keeps referring to is only true if you count the procedural Votes that don''''t really count. If you count the procedural type votes then Obama voted with Bush I think about 70 or 80 % of the time.
McCaine was so far out of line with the Republicans they was going to kick him out of the party at one time
Posted by doctor--cool at 10:49 PM
BUT what is McCain''s Current Plan -- Make the Bush tax cuts permanent and DOUBLE DOWN ON THE BUSH PRACTICE WITH EVEN MORE TAX CUTS APPLIED THE SAME WAY. McCain has completely renounced his "mavericky" position of the past in this election cycle; he''s just a Bushie now. - Reply to this comment

- "I think the deregulation was probably helpful to the growth of our economy."

Sen. John McCain said that on 60 Minutes one month ago. Seriously.

Alan Greenspan even agrees that deregulation is a failed policy. Greenspan stated business does not act in it''s own best interest. Yet, Senator McCain still features deregulation as the centerpiece of his health care plan. A health care plan his own advisers, McCain''s Advisers even admit will produce inferior health care insurance plans in the future. - Reply to this comment

Obama has addressed far more than Senator McCain and Sarah Palin both on relationship and issues. Has either McCain or Palin actually presented a policy issue in the depth Obama has. Not really considering 18 billion in earmark cutting is supposed to offset how many times more spending by McCain / Palin? Seems from many reports to be the 16 times required for Senator to double the rate of increase in the national debt on his watch. A tradition started by Reagan''''''''s doubling, Bush 41''''''''s quadrupling and Bush 43 increase at 8 times the pre -Reagan rate of increase in the national debt.

With Reagan doubling the rate of increase of the national debt, Bush 41 doubling Reagan''s rate of increase and Bush 43 doubling yet again Bush 41''s rate of increase. We cannot afford 16 times the rate of increase in the national debt required of Senator McCain to keep up with Reagan and the Bushes. - Reply to this comment

Wait a minute - you support "free enterprise" but you want regulation on how much Obama should be able to spend on his campaign?
And then you relate that to an economy under Obama?
I''m sorry, but the two don''t go hand in hand.
Having said that, I don''t necessarily agree with the amount spent on the campaign by either party - and that includes buying clothes for Palin.
Look at it this way, at least Obama is spending money - something our economy needs at this particular point in time. - Reply to this comment

Your claim, "He just said it%u2019s alright to kill a baby. The baby has no legal rights" is a lie.
