petro49l-and your take on the messiah''s use of blow and alcohol??? Guess that was ok.
Cite your source for the allegations of supposed "treatment" on Bush.
Also, he isn''t running.
Come to think of it, how about teddy and alcohol, how about his kid driving into DC barricades at 3AM, how about the sainted jfk, he was hooked onto tons of drugs for numerous health problems. Guess that was ok.

Returning the clothes is a good sign. Now Palin and family can go back to where they came from. Too bad about the stores who got the returns, maybe they can pass them off to some other sucker as lighty used garments.

You would vote for Barack if he had died 2 weeks ago. So what you are saying that doc''s and ditch diggers should make the same amount of money.

Why is Sarah Palin an issue? George W. Bush is a real concern. Bush obviously suffers from brain damage due to excessive use of liquor, PCP, methamphetamine, and potent hashish. His Doctor could use Thorazine and ECT is restore his composure and dignity. A modified frontal lobotomy would repair damage in his head. Modern scientific brain scans identify key areas of injury for surgical procedure.

That makes the wardrobe worth $100,000.
More like a mortgage principal, not wordrobe for a ''frugal Wal-Mart mom''.
When the best paid person in McCain''s campaign is a stylist, that shows which are the ''pressing issues'' for their campaign, and how they are planning to address them.

You know we are not talking about clothes, it is about ethical behavior, and Ms. Palin is a big Alaskan question mark on her ethics. Another question is why keep it ia secret from the beginning, the GOP caused this problem themselves. So now people are at the point that they want to see return receipts, they want to see the clothes given away publicly. Does this seem petty, yeah maybe, but people are tired of being abused, and buying Ms. Palin clothes, really made both parties angry. Why, because it is insane, the amount of money was even more insane. People are struggling day to day and think how far $100,000 or $150,000 could go to help a few familes, instead of dressing Palin.

It isn%u2019t so funny why CBS doesn%u2019t let you see the news, but it is fun to chat here. You poorer democommies don%u2019t need to watch this video, but if you are middle class or above you might want to hear from Barack what he plans to do with your money. At the end he tries to make Joe the Plumber understand. www.youtube.com/watch?v=iivL4c_3pck

Here it is again, you have a woman that is smart enough to be elected a US Gov, has gone one on one with all comers and her intelligence has won out. And all you can do because of your inferior intellect is talk about her clothes. Do any of you think for a moment that any of you could even talk to this lady on her level, do any of you even think you would be able to be a US Gov. So you inferior intellects talk about how great her hair is and how you would love to have it, or how attractive she is and wouldn%u2019t you love to look like her. How smart she is and wouldn%u2019t you love to be where she is. She is an icon for our youth, and to men and woman of the world.

Oh how wonderful. $150,000 on new clothes (and for the life of me, I can''t understand how ANYONE can actually spend $150,000 on clothes), and they give $50,000 of them back.

That leaves $100,000.

Drat! If only nobody would read those pesky campaign finance reports, they could have gotten away with it!

So Palin is even too stupid to pick out her own clothes, even when we are buying.

And McCain has even got to spin that! I like the word spin. It is a republican word meaning to tell a lie.

This is ridiculous! Everything you all are saying about Palin''s personal spending can be said about every other candidate...demo or rep. (How much have men politicians spent on parties, booze, and hookers?) I can''t think of anybody else that has been so scrutinized over what has been spent on their clothes. If you were running for veep, you''d have to have appropriate clothes too...let''s worry about more important things!

"Look, she lives a frugal life. She and her family are not wealthy. She and her family were thrust into this, and there was some - and some third of that money is given back, the rest will be donated to charity," he said.

Define Frugal...Pu leeze. Does she live paycheck to paycheck. I doubt it.
