And, by eliminating some of the programs that he said he will, such as the Future Combat Systems, President Obama will be creating many more wounded than President McCain would.
And, make no mistake about it, Whomever is President will get the unfortunate task of sending some of ours into harms way.
Obama says he wants to support the troops, so why would he cut the military budget that is needed to protect them ?

No I am not really worried. Mr. Obama did admit to his past and I think he has really grown up. He is very calm cool and collected. He shows that he really thinks about things and does not appear impulsive or rash.
Do you know that many thought GWB fell off the wagon for a while. Which is very plausible to me given his impulsive nature.
JFK had a bad drug problem that was covered up. Although at the time with his Addisons disease and back problems coupled with the propensity for physician to hand out drugs like candy it would be easy to see.
What I worry about is McCains mental abilities. There was a reporter for Vanity Fair Mag that stated he thought Mr. McCain was going senile and stated his case why. As he was laying out his reasons I was shocked as he was really on target. It made me stop and think of all the old patients I have seen and the common signs and symptoms. That scares me more.

Thats a nobel profession. My sister worked as a critical care nurse in the DC area and some of the things you mentioned she also saw.
My new products probably are not used in a ER setting, but then I take a geat deal of pride knowing after my design validation testing proves out the design, it will make a difference in someones life.
The recent news I found scary is how some corporation bought out an inspector with the FDA to obtain approval for plastic material that is banned in Canada, because testing has shown it to be a carcinogen.
We need accountability in our government and I beleive Obama is better choice.

People, we just this week witnessed the biggest "govt. handout" in the history of mankind on the face of the planet - $1.2 Trillion (that''s 1,200 1-billion-dollar-bills - can you grasp that?) to who?
People, your earnings for years to come, even earnings of your children and grandchildren, have just been handed over to the Wall Street bankers and brokers who have our country in a stranglehold.
"Conservative Republicans" need to wake up. This is not about fake "Joe" (actually Samuel) the Plumber!
Make no mistake, the policies of deregulation, begun under Reagan, continued by Bush & Cheney, and supported for 26 years by John McCain, have set America on a long slide down into second rate status.
And make no mistake, the policies of McCain & Palin would lock us into this downward spiral until we crash into the ground!
Voters thinking about casting a ballot for McCain/Palin should first think seriously about how well they''ll do in a new Great Depression, because that is what McCain Palin will bring us.
Let''s not kid ourselves - this election is not about last year''s culture war - it''s about our economic survival.

Which would you say is more likely to go back to cocaine when under stress - someone who did it previously out of curiosity, or someone who took it because that were having a personal crisis ?

In my opinion people who do drugs any drugs to escape personal crisis are more likely to relapse. However, with that said there are many other factors; 1) length of sobriety and commitment to sobriety 2) support system ie: family, church, AA or NA 3) age; younger people are more likely to slip than older people. - Reply to this comment

Ok, what do you want to know. That cocaine is actually one of the easier drugs to detox from (about 1 week) as long as it is not injected. I believe Mr. Obama admitted snorting cocaine.. This in no way indicates if he was addicted or not. Alcohol, narcotics and meth much more difficult to detox from.

Well being that I live in SLC now not alot. However, Meth-heads yes probably 3-5 of those a week. Plus there also has been an upswing in heroine use so we see probably 1-2 of those a week. But here is SLC with the predominant religion you have more pill poppers than anything else and we see many many people who have OD''d on oxycontin. - Reply to this comment
