Biden plainly stated Obama was not touching his Beretta or Shotgun or anyone else''''''''s gun. You should should actually check out your sources better. It was further broadcast in a political cartoon with both Gov Palin and Senator Biden at the VP debate podiums with their guns on display. McCain lies already refuted.

And I am sure he wasn''''t lying when he said he would not touch BIDEN''''s berreta or shotgun. It''''s mine and yours I am worried about.

I guess maybe it''''s time to be proactive, just quit my job and wait for the welfare check Obama has promised after November. I would have never believed that there were more sheep than clear thinking adults in this country prior to the Obama nomination but now realize sadly enough that is the reality.

Well if you have heard any campaign speeches by Obama recently he highlighting that we have to all stick together as one nation and pull together as one nation to get through some challenging times ahead of us.
- actually he reminds me of Winston Churchill funnily enough when he says this...a good Brit conservative.

Misha, reread the CBS story, try getting the facts on his campaign contributions. It''''s tough to have a debate when the facts are denied.

My figures also stated average contribution -- do you understand the meaning of average?

Keepon topic, you are wrong only 25% as CBS stated in their own story came from "small donations" Most came from the very rich and overseas.

Note that overseas political donations are illegal in presidential elections.

my last post should Obama repealing Bush tax cutes by the way...

Misha, look at what Obama has attemped to do in Illinois and Chicago on gun control, look at what he has said, then reread your crapp statement.

Doesn''t matter candidate positions evolve over time. Just like Senator McCain''s 2000 rejection of the Bush tax cuts for the Rich and his 2008 desire do not only extend but increase them. Only some changes are clearly better than others. Apparently you even prefer the new Obama stance on guns.

more lies with the massive number of contributors and the lowest average contribution Obama''s campaign defines true public financing. All strangely a by product of the Republican insistence to ban soft money.

Darkangel421, You are just using factually incorrect GOP bleating points to argue against a tax rate that would be the same as Clinton was operating in the 90''s. The tax rate difference is only 3% above 250K - and Obama is repealing the Obama tax cuts to the rich.
The tax rates - as are the interest rates - are still low compared to any other western country.
