Supreme Court Sides With Election Official In Dispute With State Republican Party Over Voter Registrations

Secretary of State, Jennifer Brunner a Democrat is going to change many minds in this election to go and vote for John McCain. McCain was only 2% points ahead of "O"bama in the state. I feel with obvious stealing of the Election for "O"bama will turn many now to vote for McCain to right a wrong.

- Folks,
Please email or call your Representatives and Senators in Congress.
Demand they provide Massive U.S. Secret Service Protection to President Obama and his family. One never knows what a single KKK, Confederate and Southerner will do to vent his ''Madness''.
We will be making World History with Obama as the 1st Black President but let not be it a tragic one. - Reply to this comment
- Democrats are not trying to cheat! They are trying to do what is right. There is potentential for 200,000 out of 666,000 votes not being counted; that''s a lot of votes, folks. Let''s make sure we get it right and that no one is left out because of a clerical error. This is too important!

- Colorado has a law that any voter still not living in certain districts for voting are to be eliminated fromt the rolls. So, it''''s the law in our state. Voted at the time the Democrats controlled the states back in the early 1990s.

Many states do, but what''s happening is republicans are sending out registered mail to "questionable" registered voters. If the mail is returned they are automatically removed from the registry. Now if that person were out and could not sign for this certified letter it would be returned, but that does not mean that person doesn''t live there. There should also be a grace period around any election for people who are in the process of moving or are deployed overseas in the military. In ''04 many democratic military personnel were removed from voter registrations because they did not sign for registered mail when they were not home to receive it. - Reply to this comment

I believe for state and local elections that is legal. However I believe federal law prevents disenfranchising a legal voter in the state in a federal election just because his registration is not in the proper district as long as he only votes for candidates in his current district. Meaning the voter could lose the option to vote for a congressman but not a senator or president. - Reply to this comment

What are you psychic that you know what I read? Just because I don''t believe the same as you, I must be getting fed by the mainstream media? How conceited. - Reply to this comment
- Yes indeed. Fraudulent voter registrations are not necessarily an indication of fraudulent votes. But, caging and purging are certainly fraudulent ways of preventing votes.

It has everything to do with the honesty of this man Obama. Why don''t you try investigating on your own instead of being brainwashed by CBS NBC OR CBN. They report it, you believe it...wake up and see this man Obama for who he is. A socialist that does not have our country''s best interest in mind - Reply to this comment
- It could very well be that at least 200,000 newly registered voters in Ohio are fraudulent ...

READ THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE REPUBLICAN PASSED LAW. ALL REGISTRATION COLLECTORS ARE LEGALLY REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ALL COMPLETED REGISTRATIONS IN MANY STATES TO PROTECT VOTERS FROM DISCRIMINATION BY THE SAME REGISTRATION COLLECTORS. YOU ARE EXPECTING THEN TO BREAK THE LAW.
Due to the laws of many states to wisely prevent destruction of valid voter registrations require collectors to submit ALL COMPLETED REGISTRATION FORMS. The HAVA law passed by a Republican Congress and signed by a Republican President (Bush) in 2002 required matching (not specifically an exact match down to middle initial or apt number or even exact spelling of the name) between new voter registrations and things such as State ID''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''s, Drivers Licenses and or the last 4 digits of the Soc Sec Number to prevent fraudulent voter registrations from being added to the voter roles.
I''''''''d chalk it up to Bush & Republican incompetence myself -- and so will many voters.

- ibzjem, that is whay I am urging everyone but ESPCIALLY those in swing states to volunteer on election day and even if you don''t volunteer be VIGILANT while at the polls or better yet vote early. Little Republican Nazis like bellschotch and his ilk will be out in droves with their bags of dirty tricks. We have to protect every legitimate vote because they have shown that they are willing and able to steal them if given half a chance.

Can you spell Manchurian Candidate? McCain''s erratic behavior of late is not helping. - Reply to this comment
- charmin1350, what does that have to do with ANYTHING? And the Repubs say the Dems can''t stay on topic.

- Republican Secretaries of State of swing-state Colorado have quietly purged one in six names from their voter rolls. More then 2.7 million have had their registrations REJECTED under new procedures signed into law by George Bush. A fired US prosecutor levels new charges - accusing leaders of his own party, Republicans, with criminal acts in an attempt to block legal voters as "fraudulent." Since the last presidential race, "States used dubious ''list management'' rules to scrub at least 10 million voters from their rolls."

- Below are a few lines from Obama''s books; In his words!
From Dreams of My Father: ''I ceased to advertise my mother''s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.''
From Dreams of My Father : ''I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother''s race.''
From Dreams of My Father: ''There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.''
From Dreams of My Father: ''It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.''
From Dreams of My Father: ''I never emulate white men and brown men whose fates didn''t speak to my own. It was into my father''s image, the black man, son of Africa , that I''d packed all the attributes I sought in myself , the attributes of Martin and Malcolm, DuBois and Mandela.''
From Audacity of Hope: ''I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.''

- Oh come on! This isn''t about voter fraud, it''s about worker fraud where workers sent in fraudulent registration cards to make more money. Does anyone really think SNOW WHITE and names like that are going to show up and vote?

- Just how much Senate experience does Barack Obama have in terms of actual work days? Not much.
From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That''s how many days the Senate was actually in session and working.
After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan.
In contrast, John McCain''s 26 years in Congress, 22 years of military service including 1,966 days in captivity as a POW in Hanoi now seem more impressive than ever. At 71, John McCain may just be hitting his stride. - Reply to this comment
- Credibility2 ... I''m a combat vet with the CIB. I took an oath to defend the constitution and put my life on the line to do it. In my view, the Republican party has turned into a bunch of whining hypocritical fear mongers, and downright criminals.
And a prison cell would probably be more appropriate than just "getting over it", but I ain''t holding my breath on that one. - Reply to this comment
- ohio''''''''s secretary of state has made people here in pennsylvannia and ohio very mad, many people in these two states are now changing their minds over obama and now going for mccain.

This issue is changing the minds of many in other swing-states too. Here in Colorado and New Mexico this stituation is making many also to think of what ACORN is doing and this thing happening in Ohio.
And they are getting mad too.
