Maybe Senator McCain should not have claimed that John Lewis was one of the respected people he would take advice from. It does not sound like he enjoyed hearing some of Congressman Lewis'' advice.

Why are the vast majority of MCCAIN / PALIN stickers always on gas guzzling SUVS and huge trucks?

How is it that you never see these stickers on conservative average American cars that get 20 to 25 MPG or more?

That comparison is not fair but John McCain should be taking his own advice to Obama about choosing his words carefully. Sometime all a nut needs is just a little spark to do something crazy and McCain and Palin''s words about palling around with terrorists is extremely dangerous.

So according to McCian, it''s ok to put a lie out if it''s being done by an "unkown" representative. However, when a well established person calls them out, it''s suddenly "unacceptable"?
Sen McCain, where is your honor?

If the Republican''s do NOT do some serious House Cleaning this is only going to repeat itself. I don''t know the answer, what will make these losers become part of this nation, but most certainly the answer is NOT to run Campaigns that attract them.

I am sorry, McCain is plain wrong. For the last few days McCain campaign is creating a lot of hate oriented slogans. He is fanning a hysteria among his supporters- just look at the hysteric hateful reaction in his rallies. He must stop all that nonsense. Responsible people in his Virginia campaign is comparing Obama ro Osama- what sort of nonsense is that? McCain should shape up. Act like an honorable man- not like the airhead that McCain collected as his sidekick.

McCain wants it both ways, he wants to rabble rouse and then claim that he isn''t doing what he is doing. Where''s that supposed honor of yours John? Your actions are those of a coward.

"Selma... More Change...Also called revisionist history..." Posted by Logansprings

You still haven''t proven your previous lie about Mr. Lewis. Changing the subject to irrelevancies is the usual tactic of a racist without cause.

So you missed your chance to prove that you are not a lying racist, come on, I''ll give you another.

What previous statements and actions demonstrate that Mr. Lewis is nothing more than an "angry "Black" man?

Validate your insults to true American heroes, or go tell it to your kkk buddies.

The nasty GOP supporters will regret their comments, and McCain will disavow them within days (certainly by the day after the election). Curiously, the vitriolic comments are continuing here and now on this site. To see the effect of the stupid comments, just check an electoral vote map like electoral-vote.com. Nasty republicans, come back from the dark side.

McCain is also not some ''obscure party official'' yet, his campaign is running ad''s claiming Obama ''pals around with terrorists'', trying to paint the image that somehow Obama cannot be trusted, and may be some kind of Terrorist sympathizer.
While McCain did correct someone at one of his rallies for calling Obama an ''Arab'', his campaign rhetoric is what leads to those attitudes.

Got to love the Hypocritical Republicans. Out one side of their mouth they speak of God and Jesus (who stand for love, kindness, and understanding) while out the other side they spew lies and hate, all while holding guns-which I''m sure God, who created life, would want you to hold an object that was only made for killing.
