Food for thought-Hilllary continued this same bs that you and SP are trying to do but look where it got her! The bs was unfounded-do you OWN a brain? Maybe Troopergate will allow you into their territory so you can purchase one for a buck or two. Idiots like you need to be silenced..... - Reply to this comment
- Even the Wall Street Journal, which is not part of the "liberal media," says Palin abused her power and crossed ethical lines.
We don''t want her for VP and certainly don''t want to give her a shot at being president. - Reply to this comment
- Palin:
She can be the attack dog.
She can stoke hatred and racism.
She can rally the most base of the base.
But there is no way to spin the fact that she is a terrible candidate in every way. Her beliefs are extreme, her knowledge base is minimal, she has no integrity and quite frankly, she is not very smart. You can get all angry about it, its not a slur on faith or religion, its just the sad truth. - Reply to this comment
- You got it wrong. She was not unlawful and in fact fired lawfully.. She abused ethics by doing something for personal gain. By saying that though you have to defend the trooper''''s actions. If she had avoided action she would have violated her pledge to the state to clean things up. Failing to act on behalf of the state because some benefit accrues to the governor would be a bigger abuse. All the bad guys have to do is offend the governor as well as the people to keep her from acting. That would be gross violation. Palin did the right thing and Todd has every right to pursue his family''''s interest.

Splitting hairs. In the end you can always "fire lawfully" it''s the ethical and illlegal things you do prior to the "legal firing"
This campaign by the Republicans was about change, trust and ethics:
From McCains own website:
"America deserves and demands a government that serves the country, not itself. Most people believe that elected leaders are more interested in the perks and privileges of office than in public service"
As President, John McCain will see to it that the institutions of self-government are respected pillars of democracy, not commodities to be bought, bartered, or abused.
She violated ethics. Simple job John. "legally fire" Sarah Palin now. If you can''t or won''t, remove your ethics page from you website. - Reply to this comment

Bart Conner
Gene Chandle
Sam Cooke
Benny Goodman
Gene Cruppa
Gillian Anderson
John Belushi

- How does this twit figure she was cleared? Either she can''t read or she chose not to read the report. She obviously does hold a grudge if no one would read it to her.

- This is the first time in history that presidental and a vice presidential candidate have both had been found to have had ethics violations. McCain with the Keating 5 who was reprimanded by ethics board and now Palin Troopergate who abused her power. Neither were illegal but ethical violations. So much for reform.

- Palin told the Alaskan press today -
In a brief telephone interview Saturday with Alaska reporters, Gov. Sarah Palin said she did nothing wrong in the Troopergate affair and appreciates "being cleared of any legal wrongdoing or unethical activity at all."

- I hear many scary things about Obama but not as much about Mcain why is this is it becuase of his past. Everyone may have skeletons in their closet some more than others. Should we hold someone running for public office to a higher standard I think so and I think we the people should demand it. A president works for his people he leads he doesn''t rule but their is a fine line that must not be crossed the question is has Obama or Mcain crossed that line which make them disqualified or inexperienced.

- Here is the truth as I see it. The GOP will foment fear and appeal to bases of human behavior fear. That same fear that lead to the assassinations of John Kennedy, Bobby Kenney and Dr. King. Race is still an issue. but now religious intolerance had been added to kick it up a notch. He''s a Muslim. he is not like us. Wasn''t that what was said in the 60''s.. He is black he isn''t like us? Using loaded words like terrorist is irresponsible and now Mr. McCain sees the extent of this hate mongering. he now says %u201CWe will be respectful%u201D, and gets booed. Well these are your people your constituency. Mr. McCain now says Mr. Obama is a decent man. but does his party his constituency YOU want to hear that? No still we see the worst kind of bigoted, racist, untrue smears posted on these blogs. God help us%u2026.
I am sure Mr. Obama regrets any association with Mr. Ayers as innocuous as it was. Mr. Obama has denounced what Mr. Ayers did. But for some Conservative Repubs (most who will claim they are Christians) this is not enough. Of course you are the same people who would most likely have been those spitting on Christ as he carried the cross. THE FIRST TO CONDEMN LAST TO FORGIVE. HOPE GOD IS As MERCIFUL TO YOU AS YOU ARE TO OTHERS - Reply to this comment

Don''''t put words in my mouth.. I have never once said Obama was the Messiah or Jesus. I just said that Jesus was also a community organizer..
I am a white Catholic woman and Mr. Farakahn does not speak for me nor am I stupid enough to think that he speaks for Mr. Obama or the whole black community any more than Ms. Palin speaks for all white women.
