Comments on: McCain Sticks Up For Obama At Rally
Is Booed For Calling Democratic Rival A "Decent Person" As Campaign Crowds Get Increasingly Angry
- You notice McCain instead of referring to Obama as an American, he referred to him as a "citizen."

Cindy McCain didn''t want him to run. Now he has to provide leadership to a bunch of mean mean nastykins.
Kinda like Obama had to reign in Darth Biden.
Reminds me of the joke where the Secret Service detained two people who were trying to jump the White House perimeter wall.
They then told the President and Vice President they couldn''t leave til January. - Reply to this comment
- "I don''t trust Obama," a woman said. "I have read about him. He''s an Arab."
And I am sure this same woman is proudly waving her Made in China American flag-and Saying we are liberating the People of Iraq which happen to be from the same group of people she stated, "She does not trust." I am beginning to think that the Republicans are the "Bloods" and the Democrats are the "Crips" I guess the independents must be "MS13" It is all out gang war - Reply to this comment

Who asked for banking regulations to be relaxed to allow "those less fortunate" access to loans?
Who called those who oppossed relaxing regulations "mean spirited" and "racist"? - Reply to this comment

It had nothing to do with "differing", it had to do with the opinion being TRULY moronic or paid spammer hack. - Reply to this comment

THe A S S called almost half the country fringe.
Why don''t you confront the A S S on his denigration of almost half the voters of this country?
Hmmm? Why don''t you confront the denigration jerk? - Reply to this comment
- McCain doesn''t deserve kudos. He incited this violent reaction against Obama. Yes, at least he seemed taken aback by it, but his attempts to qwell were half-hearted... partly becasue he''s afraid of losing credibility with his (increasingly scary) base and partly because he kinda likes the anger toward Obama. The ONLY reason he ''stood up'' for Obama yesterday is that yesterday''s polls showed the *** he''s been spewing is not working.

- His supporters are members of the fringe lunatic group.

So almost half the USA voting population is fringe?
Tucker, you are obviously a pinhead simpleton or on Soros payroll to say these moronic mathematically impossible things. - Reply to this comment
- I think that Americans feel trampled on, used, and helpless...

I agree.
The first time I felt that way was when "activists" started leveraging their political views, just like these loser banks over-leveraged their bad loans.
The over-leveraging of the activists has provided the country the same political mess that the banks have provided.
In the colleges one can even get a degree and training in how to over-leverage one''s political beliefs to dominate.
"I think that Americans feel trampled on, used, and helpless..."
You bet! - Reply to this comment
- Cindy McCain was against him running.
Only Jesus could love an angry, hate sick spoiled nation like this.
Even President Bush is probably going to leave this sicko country of spoiled screaming brats after his term is up. - Reply to this comment
- What Americans don''t realize is that we are entering the christian version of the pre-Taliban era. False prophets enriching themselves at the expense of their intolerant, anti-intellectual followers. These ultra-right preachers have been given credibility by the Republican Party just as Saudi Arabia and Iran''s leaders thought they could enslave the masses under the banner or religion while they continued their corrupt and greedy ways. It doesn''t work. The ultra-religious may share power for a while, but eventually they want it all. America is but a generation or two from American bred christian terrorists being hated and feared throughout the world. This election needs to be as much about stopping this ascendency as it is to restore a sembolance of intelligence to our leadership. Only then will America regain the world''s respect.

- Kudos, Senator McCain.
How much of the words yelled at McCain rallies do you think comes straight from the likes of Rush Limbaugh and Ann Coulter, people who have spent years calling other Americans terrorists and treasonists simply because of differences of opinion.
Mainstream voters wouldn''t be so scared and whipped up if they weren''t fed words intented to enflame them, fed them by those who use national forums to spread an agenda of fear and hate that just happens to make those same people personally wealthy and famous.
GOP leadership, Talk Radio, Fox News, and Christian Radio all need to take a dose of McCain''s sanity and start calling for respect or calm as well.
Obama too, but he''s been pretty calm through it all anyway, he and Joe. - Reply to this comment
- DOUCMENTS AND VIDEO PROVE PALIN IGNORES SEPARATION OF CHURCH AND STATE!!!! Sarah Palin''''s own records and video show her at her Wasilla Assemblies of God church promising church members that she will do all she can to inject God into the government. What the congregation and other taxpayers did not know--is that the plane trip, hotel and expenses to Wasilla were paid for by the taxpayer as Palin charged the entire trip to government expenses.
Wow, stay tuned Sarah--you are in the big leagues now--and you can''''t hide behind moose dressing or a misunderstanding--no respect for the law, no respect for the Constitution...when this is over, you may wish YOU were Bill Ayers.

- I guess McCain found a line he couldn''t cross - finally. Or he realized this garbage costs him supporters. It''s a step - but to little too late, since his subsequent speeches, rallies - and that awful invocation - are still more of the same hinting at terrorism and fear of other religions.

- This just in:
an article entitled, "Sorry Dad, I''m Voting for Obama," on The Daily Beast, Christopher Buckley writes that Republican John McCain has betrayed his principals. McCain has changed positions on important issues, made promises he cannot keep, endorsed unworkable policies, and selected the inexperienced Sarah Palin as his running mate, Buckley writes.
The Arizona senator has lost his bearings, according to Buckley, while Obama has found his. Obama has demonstrated in the campaign that he has a "first-class temperament."
And there is even more he has to say. - Reply to this comment
- I get a daily email from the McCain campaign (junkmail), and two days ago they were offering a meeting with Sarah Palin as the prize to the supporter making the most phone calls. Then came the fact that Sarah''s guilty. Why do you think they stopped dangling Sarah as the prize?

- I wish we could set aside differences and work together to bring the country back to it''s rightful place as number one in the world. I admire and respect both candidates for the effort and integrity they''ve exhibited through most of the campaign.
I''m retiring my log-in name, gop4luzers. There could be nothing further from the truth. It was created in response to a derogatory login used by another individual. I''m ashamed of the back-and-forth name calling that goes on in these comment sections. I hope we can rise collectively to stand as Americans, and not as two sides who can''t appreciate/respect their neighbors. - Reply to this comment
