Legislative Committee Is Meeting Behind Closed Door In Troopergate Investigation
- I''m sure CBS News is excited over this ''scandal''.
Nevermind the cronies covering for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac for causing this fiscal fiasco we''re all in. That''s not important, right? - Reply to this comment
- Sorry he speaks negatively about Obama. I thought years after the Jim Crow error, we would be over this black and white issues and move forward, but its apparent that McCain is basing his new message on old feelings of hatred and spite, and we are all God''s children.

- He tried to force the Clinton administration to withdraw more quickly. After the First Battle of Mogadishu (immortalized in the book and film %u201CBlack Hawk Down%u201D), Clinton proposed a six-month plan for withdrawing combat troops. Then-Sen. Phil Gramm complained that the plan was an attempt to %u201Csave face,%u201D and McCain introduced an amendment to cut off funding for combat in Somalia and force an immediate withdrawal. The amendment was tabled and the Senate backed Clinton%u2019s plan. In his 2002 memoir, %u201CWorth the Fighting For,%u201D McCain called his amendment %u201Chasty%u201D and wrote that he %u201Cregretted%u201D what he came to see as %u201Ca retreat in the face of aggression from an inferior foe.%u201D
Another decesion he made that he later came to regret, yet he speaks negatively about McCain.. - Reply to this comment
- You are obviously an uneducated person, and for that reason I will take pity on you. I would advise you to attempt to obtain an education. In this day and age an education is truly a necessity, and without one, you are doomed to failure. Your dismally inadequate endeavors to portray yourself in an intelligent manner have not been successful. As a result, please do not feel offended if I fail to respond to any of your gibberish.

- Raheem , the type of ignorant juvenile rhetoric you are now spewing is indicative of a moron who has no facts for a rebuttle, thanks for once again highlighting your ignorance and inability to respond in a coherent way that supports your argument or opinion. In other words you have lost the debate idiot.

Here''s a quote from Palin''s own personal report on her view of Troopergate and discussing: ...his "long history of unstable and erratic behavior." --- I thought she was talking about McCain and started to chuckle!!!!
I guess if the shoe fits, wear it (even if the $10 shoes cost $500.00 bucks.
This will no doubt make John even angrier --- ol'' MR. GRUMPY is not going to be happy after his nap!!- Reply to this comment
- This wasn''t even his idea. He stole it..Now who is the Liar.
McCain proposed to write down the amount owed by over-mortgaged homeowners and claimed the idea as his own: %u201CIt%u2019s my proposal, it''s not Sen. Obama''s proposal, it''s not President Bush''s proposal.%u201D But the idea isn%u2019t new. Obama had endorsed something similar two weeks earlier, and authority for the treasury secretary to grant such relief was included in the recently passed $700 billion financial rescue package - Reply to this comment

- What the heck is he going to do if it is Bad Dump her?
NO He is stuck with her to the Bitter end and she will drag him down and has already tarnished the republican party beyond repair.
McCain/Palin is such a Bad ticket and such a poor choice for McCain he simply lacks the ability to transition from the smear and fear tactics they are useing and he is allowing to continue and what he promised nOT TO DO!!!!
I have Lost all confidence in the republican party and while I wont switch parties I wont be voteing for McCain
He simply does not deserve the Vote and while His Past Military commitment is Laudable it is not a goos reason to vote for Him... Rememiscient of ( I won Three Purple Hearts)! LOL so what that does not make one a good leader....
Keeting 5 bring up yet another concern and while it was years ago it simply shows the deapths to which McCain will plundge.
Sad to see, but the Republicans have simply self imploded and will loose badly this November and they will also loose seats in Congress because of this Backlash and economic conditions which they have brought to bear.
God Help us all...
Economic melt down.... - Reply to this comment
- You know I rather have someone in office that is friends with Terrorists as they say and keep our country safe than to be enemies with them and endure more of the same Iraq and other wars which we are known as the enemy...

- notblue - please take the time to read rather than attack. I am not "justifying" anything, but I do find the hypocrisy unacceptable. One cannot scream "treasonous acquaintances!" and point the finger while turning a blind eye to another''s similar affiliations. That is hypocrisy.
Apparently angry outbursts and lashing out is rapidly becoming a trait among McCain supporters. - Reply to this comment
- Raheem , your own words quantify my statement as the truth. Why worry about your own country, the left doesn''t need your support they can destroy America without your help.

- MLR_08. Please do not entertain people that support this ticket. The american people see the racial overtones that they are trying to cover up. McCain picked a woman that supports a group that hates america... yet he says country first. he was against supplying troups with updated equipment, yet he says country first. He supports convicted..murderers, and domestic terrorists, which he calls his friend, yet he says country first. Well which country is he referring to. I hope and pray its not the one I live in..

- "Bill Ayers is currently an estimed and accomplished college professor" who was FORMERLY an American terrorist who took credit for bombing the pentagon and capital building and remains unrepentent to this day, a perfect fit for the modern leftwing in America.

- MLR80, ignoring the truth is what people like you do, justifying a leftwing radical agenda is what you do, midigating terrorist acts is what you do. Try the truth and see how your statement can be any further from it, see how that works for you.

- Raheem, what part of the middle east do you come from? What is your agenda? The same as the enemies? the same as the leftwingers who supprot and mirror the enemies message. No surprise you frequent leftwing central, these ingrates are the best support the enemy Islamists could have ever dreamed of.

- Please, notblue, that is untrue. Ayers was on the run when those bombings took place, due to a bomb-making session in Greenwich Village in 1970 that went wrong. There was an explosion that killed 3 members of the Weather Underground. WHILE he was a fugitive those bombings took place. He turned himself in, and he was not convicted.
It should also be noted that one of McCain''s supporters (besides Palin, who has very close ties with an anti-American establishment, the Alaskan Independence Party) is John M. Murtagh who has many close ties to violent radicals, among them a Catholic priest who led several violent protests against abortion clinics. These protests included physical assault, harassment, bomb threats and in four cases, the firing of bullets into windows. In one instance a 72 year old nurse who was NOT working at a clinic was repeatedly slammed into a wall because the protesters thought she was a clinic nurse. - Reply to this comment
