Is Barack Obama blowing smoke or not? Is Barack Obama a chain smoker or not?

If he is only a closet smoker and not transparent by smoking in public and admitting that he has a nicotine addiction then how can we trust him on other issues that are truly grave?

Does he smoke a lot of cigarettes only when he plays poker with his Chicago friends or is it a daily habit?

How can we trust him on health care if he is a smoker. Would not someone who really wants to hold down healthcare costs want to quit smoking.

At this point I don''t care what the report says. That fact that she tried to block an investigation which had bi-partixan approval and support prior to her VP nomination makes her guilty. If she was the true "maverick" she claims she would have pushed the political goons aside and followed thru with her promise to cooperate with the investigation. Has anyone noticed the inverse relationship and correlation between the Barack Obama-Joe Biden campaign ticket stock seemingly going up and every stock on Wall Street going down. It is plain to see that there is a cause and effect between any seeming growing momentum behind an Obama election and the continuing recent real stock market crash. Wall Street is about future expectations six months from now and the expectations are that Barack Obama will not help our economy if he is elected. Wall Street and the world knows that an Obama election will not be good for business. A vote for John McCain will be a vote for our economic recovery. There is a greater issue that we must all be concerned about in Palin''s emergence at the national stage than this--that PALIN, LIKE BUSH, HAS DECLARED WAR ON THE RULE OF LAW by encouraging disregard for the law in Alaska! By refusing to testify before a duly constituted Legislative investigative panel, and her Attorney General refusing that state employees should answer to subpoenas served on them, Palin is showing contempt for the law that one sees in the Bush approach to governing. McCain and Co., by reasons of convenience, might shout to us about a "witch hunt" against Palin. By comparison, Republicans expected Democrats to comply with Subpoenas from Kenneth Starr in his investigation of the Clintons and associates which many saw as simply over-reaching and biased. The Clintons complied! Palin would not. From this single act of disobedience, how can the nation expect that Palin, McCain and Co. will uphold the laws of the land should they ever get to the White House? Yet, this is among the most sacred obligation of high state officials--to uphold the law of the United States! What is left for us to teach our children about the rule of law if those in high office would not respect it?
