Report On Ethics Investigation Into Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin Due Friday; Husband Says V.P. Nominee Was In The Dark
- How can she be in the dark so many years? Does he run the state of Alaska? Sounds like he might. Guess he will be her Assistant if McCain wins the election. God Help Us!

- Palin''s husband and top aides said in affidavits provided to The Associated Press that the governor remained in the dark while Todd Palin repeatedly asked top state officials to help get his former brother-in-law kicked off the state police force.

Who''s going to believe this nonsense?
Sarah has no clue that Todd is demanding actions from state agencies?
What absolute drivel. - Reply to this comment

- This is playing out to be a lie to cover a lie. That is the way Republicans operate. Besides, why would we want a family running to the Congress and Senate putting their two cents worth in every time it is convenient. I can just see Todd and the little mother without a father with baby on her hip running up to the office of vice-president yelling at the top of their lungs that things are not going right and they should listen to Mother Palin more.

- Are they saying that Governor Paylin''s husband may have been more involved in running Alaska than Hillary Clinton was in running America during her two terms as co-President?
Fancy that ! - Reply to this comment
- When will the republicans run an honest candidate for president? I guess that when you''re beholden to wealthy campaign contributors like the GOP, you more or less have to run crooks to satisfy the base.

- So let me see if I understand this, Sarracuda sells the governor''s jet, and then wants the Public Safety Deptartment''s plane at her disposal. Anybody who knows Sarracuda knows she calls the shots and everybody had better agree with her or else. Sounds a lot like Hitler.

- The neocon Fascist Nazi Republicans received a setback when the Alaska Supreme Court refuse to shut down the "Troopergate" investigation, clearing the way for a report the investigation will release Friday.
It is expected that the report may NOT be very helpful to "Caribeau Barbie" and the John McBush McCain campaign.
Stopped in their efforts to prevent the report from being released, the neocon Fascist Nazi Republicans have Palin''s "First Dude" taking full responsibility for the events leading to Troopgate, claiming that "Ms. Moose-hunter" knew nothing about it.
RIGHT!!!
What is surprising is that while the Republicans are content to throw Todd Palin "under the bus", his wife appears content with that too! There hasn''t been a peep out of her about this, especially since you would expect she would defend her husband!
So much for family values!!!
SIG HEIL, LET''S NATIONALIZE EVERYTHING!!!, BUSH!!!

- jaxsterling6, when my neighbor said that if brains cost as much as gasoline you''d spend the rest of your life at home, I begged to differ; if brains produced as much as gasoline you''d spend the rest of your life at home. Everything you listed was known publicly MORE than a month ago.....and that was when you were "going to vote for Obama." Too clever by half.

- What says the constitution of the state of Alaska? That family members or even friends are allowed to run the state, getting involved in state affairs and meddling in state business? If Alaskan residents have any pride and integrity, they should DEMAND AN IMMEDIATE RESIGNATION of the governor for overstepping the boundaries. While spouses have been known to provide advice to the elected official, it is dangerous and treacherous to take such an active role as Todd Palin admitted. This is against everything our country stands for and we must ensure that this does not happen to our country ever again. SACK THE BUNCH OF PALINS FROM THE ALASKAN GOVERNORSHIP!!

- Todd Palin wrote in his affidavit. "My wife and I are very close. We are each other''s best friend. I have helped her in her career the best I can, and she has helped me."

Yeah, but trying to get the former brother-in-law of your wife fired you somehow managed to keep to yourself, huh? You lying little GOP worm, no wonder you wouldn''t testify under oath.
I bet all you little GOP shills that thought you would be able to push the Ayers connection are unhappy now. Troopergate will drive people away from the GOP ticket all the way up to election day. - Reply to this comment

Whine, whine, while little GOP piggie. No matter how much you copy and paste the reality is that, this year, there will be no swiftboating.
Going negative is one reason McCain''s numbers are tanking. But keep it up if it makes you feel better. It will only pad Obama''s lead, you clueless GOP shill. - Reply to this comment

- ''Alaska''s Supreme Court has refused to shut down an ethics investigation into Gov. Sarah Palin, the Republican vice presidential nominee.''
Sweet! This can fester and boil all the way to Election day.
IMO Palin should withdraw. I would love to watch the ensuing chaos in the GOP. McCain could stick Warner, or Hutchinson or some other less idiot person in her place.
McCain/Palin is a joke that just isn''t that funny anymore. It''s just embarrasing for everyone. - Reply to this comment
