MISSWASILLA -- First off, your very first statement is incorrect. Nice try though, but this is NOT, a "Liberal Democracy". It is simply, a "Democracy".
Question for you: Why did you precede Democracy with the word "Liberal"? Do you have an agenda?
History dictates that if the word "Democracy" should be preceeded by any word, it should be "Tradition" in accordance with the Constitution from which this great country was founded upon.
Now, to address your obvious blather about your bloodline that fought over 1000 years of wars, what I care about most is the last 232 years. You know, back to 1776 when the country was first founded?
Although I''m of Scandinavian descent, I could care less what the fuucking Vikings did a thousand years ago. That must be the "Liberal" coming out in you as if that is of any importance to any of us on here.
You''re a liberal, and I''m a Conservative. You will be defeated. Wars, or no wars..... - Reply to this comment

To address your other concerns, yes, we own it. You dummy liberals have done nothing for this great country except cause problems and tear down its moral fabric.

- In the 1930s it was liberalism that saved the country from the 1st depression brought on by conservative economic. Back then they called it Lazze faire economics. It''''s been relabeled as "trickle down"(voodoo economic), but is essentially the same thing. It''''s all about letting the rich do whatever they want and if the rest of us get screwed in the process, so be it!
When you say that consevatives aren''''t going to let liberals "take over the country" you clearly imply that conservatives think they own it!
It''''s our country too! You''''ve had your chance and you''''ve screwed it up. It''''s our turn to try to once again fix the damage conservatives have done.

McLIAR -- You might want to double check your facts. FDR didnt want to get involved until Pearl Harbor happened. Then, he got involved. FDR had the classic liberal mindset. Dont get involved until thousands of people die first.
Kinda reminds you of 9/11 huh? What seems to be the problem with you fuucked up liberals today? - Reply to this comment
- repub4you001.........THE FANTASY THAT THE INDIVIDUAL SHOULD DETERMINE HIS DESTINY IS A BUNCH OF BS. STOP THIS RATIONALIZING, NOBODY IS FOOLED. I GUESS THE ENSLAVED AFRICANS AND WOMEN ALWAYS HAD THE RIGHT TO THEIR OWN DESTINY, OR THE POOR PEOPLE TODAY CAN JUST PULL THEIR SHOE STRINGS AND MAKE IT. BIGOT.
I''m not a bigot. Why the name calling? Why does government have to be the solution for everything?
This is America, not Europe.

In scuttling major intelligence legislation that he, the president and most lawmakers supported, Speaker J. Dennis Hastert last week enunciated a policy in which Congress will pass bills only if most House Republicans back them, regardless of how many Democrats favor them.
Hastert''''s position, which is drawing fire from Democrats and some outside groups, is the latest step in a decade-long process of limiting Democrats'''' influence and running the House virtually as a one-party institution. Republicans earlier barred House Democrats from helping to draft major bills such as the 2003 Medicare revision and this year''''s intelligence package. Hastert (R-Ill.) now says such bills will reach the House floor, after negotiations with the Senate, only if "the majority of the majority" supports them.
