- You know, McCain keeps bringing up that he warned against the financial crisis in 2005. Excuse me, as I recall, the GOP controlled both houses of Congress and the White House in 2005.
Where is the McCain financial plan of 2005? Where is the legislation he proposed?
Doesn''t exist. However, there was plenty of no-regulation legislation McCain signed onto during the 1980s to help the S&Ls (a.k.a. Keating 5).
