Comments on: Campaigns Do Battle Over Ayers, Keating
Old Events, Links To Obama And McCain Fuel Attacks On The Trail
- As McCain sinks slowly in the west, please remember who is responsible for running one of the most inept campaigns in history. These bulls**t attacks are NOT going to work beacuse Democrats for once have enough money to counter them and enough resources to issue their own TRUE attacks. "Attack us with lies and we will respond with the truth, which is much more powerful."

- No the REAL issue is that REPUBLICAN''Ts don''t want to deal with the issues that most concern the American people because they are on the WRONG side on ALL of them. And guess what, Obama''s not going to sit back like Gore and Kerry did and let these lies take on a life of their own. This time the Dems have grown a pair and are fighting back and showing what a hypocrite McCain truly is. Never has a candidate been as erratic as McCain has been in the past 2 weeks. He sounds like he is running against himself half the time. He really made a difference in getting the bailout passed- Bush didn''t even MENTION him when he was thanking Congressional leaders from both parties. Is this what we can''t expect from President McCain...thankfully we will never have to find out.

- Why hasn''t McCain released his 3000 pages of medical records in an open forum where reporters are allowed sufficient TIME to peruse and report on what they find?

- Yes, I am sure pulling the lever for Obama will be traumaticfor some of you 19th century minds. But I have a feeling if Jesus were black you would have the same problem...racist hypocrites!

- All you''''ve got is some BS about Bill Ayers, who is now a respected college professor and an implied relationship with Obama, WHO WAS 8 YEARS OLD when Ayers was active with the Weather Underground. At a time peoples'''' investments are vanishing, all you can do is make these totally baseless charges which every major news organization has deemed without merit.

The real issue here is that Oblama is not being forth coming about the true nature of their relationship. He has for some reason down played the relationship. He is being dishonest about it. That is the real issue here, not the relationship itself. - Reply to this comment
- On May 10, 2008 The Times reported, Robert Malley, advisor to Obama, was
sacked'''''''' after the press found out he was having regular contacts with
''''''''Hamas, which controls Gaza and is connected with Iran. This past week,
buried in the back part of the papers, Iraqi newspapers reported that
during Obama''''''''s visit to Iraq, he asked their leaders to do nothing about
the war until after he is elected, and he will ''''''''Take care of things''''''''.

- Why hasn''''t Obama released his college transcripts? Is he hiding the fact he was actually a mediocre student or is he hiding the islamic ties that got him excepted to Harvard? Either way he needs to release the all transcripts and records if he isn''''t hiding anything.

I find it interesting that FOX news contacted 400 students that graduated from Columbia in the same class that he did and not a single student could remember him from columbia. - Reply to this comment
- I have an idea, why don''t you REPUBLICAN''Ts post the same thing OVER AND OVER AGAIN to prove beyond a doubt what total morons you are. Please go ahead...you just prove that you have nothing to say about the real ISSUES that concern the American people. - "In 2005, Obama purchased a new home in Kenwood District of Chicago for
$1.65 million (less than asking price). With ALL those Student Loans -
Where did he get the money for the property? On the same day, Rezko''s
wife Rita purchased the adjoining empty lot, for full price. The London
Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born Billionaire loaned Rezko
$3.5 million three weeks before Obama''s new home was purchased. Obama
met Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.
Now, we have Obama running for President. Valerie Jarrett was Michele
Obama''s boss. She is now Obama''s chief adviser and he does not make any
major decisions without talking to her first. Where was Jarrett born?
Shiraz, Iran.

This issue has been long ago resolved. It is not news. You would elect a radical that is passing himseld off as a leberal. Oblama''s past associations are all radicals or criminals. I have not seen one name that Oblama can point to as someone that was an influrnce on him that is not controversial. Wright might actually be the least controversial among them. - Reply to this comment
- "Senators John Glenn and John McCain were cleared of having acted improperly but were criticized for having exercised "poor judgment"."
But look at Obama and ACORN ear marks. Billions of our money in return ACORN gave Omama 100''s thousands of dollars.
In the McCain-Obama debate Friday night, Obama took great pains to claim the he was in constant touch with Treasury Secretary Hank Paulson and the Democrat hacks working out the trillion dollar taxpayer bailout of the financial markets. All day Sunday his surrogates were claiming Obama''s input helped craft the Paulson-Democrat plan. But here''s a curious aspect. The Paulson-Democrat plan included a surreptitious provision to award ACORN and other "community activist" organizations, like La Raza, 20 percent of the money the Treasury would recover from eventually selling the so-called "worthless" paper. Republicans forced it out of the proposal. But, ain''t it curious that after all of Obama''s input to the process, it turned out that ACORN would have been snatching up a bunch of free money? - Reply to this comment
- It will be interesting to see if when Americans go to the polls on Nov. 4, when they get in the privacy of a poll booth, and they look down at the presidential candidates, if they can really pull the lever for Obama.
I''m assuming that ballots will have to have his full legal name, which is Barack Hussein Obama, II.
Like it or not, the "H" word is going to give some people pause. - Reply to this comment
- MCCAIN: ''Uh, I, I just have to rely on the good judgment of the voters not to buy into these negative attack ads. Sooner or later, people are going to figure out if all you run is negative attack ads you don''t have much of a vision for the future or you''re not ready to articulate it.'' - AIP''s founder, Joe Vogler, told an interviewer in 1991: "The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government. ... And I won''t be buried under their *** flag."
The Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. could learn from this man.
While it is in dispute whether Palin attended its 1994 convention, she did visit the 2000 one and addressed AIP conventions in 2006 and 2008. Her husband, Todd, was a registered AIP member from 1995 to 2002, and the AIP leadership certainly considers her one of their own.
Video footage shows AIP Vice Chairman Dexter Clark describing Palin at the 2007 North American Secessionist Convention as an ''AIP member before she got the job as a mayor of a small town - that was a nonpartisan job. But you get along to go along. She eventually joined the Republican Party, where she had all kinds of problems with their ethics, and well, I won''t go into that.'' (No need to. The Alaska Legislature''s ethics investigators are on the case.) Apparently with Palin in mind, Clark then went on to urge AIP members to ''infiltrate'' the major parties. - Reply to this comment

How about the finacial meltdown that he knew about months ago?
Waht would you call that person other than a fool? Traitor - Reply to this comment
- As Europeans we follow the US Elections with interest. And not particulary favouring Obama nor McCain - it is extremely sad to see that your two parties from which the next US President will come, are now spending their time, energy and money on throwing around (really old) dirt, when they should be putting all their efforts in new plans and strategies to help Americans (and the rest of the world) in this time of financial and social crisis. Please give us Europeans a reason to keep taking American politics seriously..

What do you say about a leader who "confessed" in Hanoi, radio Cuba, to get medical aid and violated the Military code of Conduct?
In my day we called them traitors. My day was Vietnam, so was McCain''s. - Reply to this comment

He has described him as an associate or guy form th eneighborhood. He launched his political career from Ayers'' living room. The fact is that he and Ayers were friends. He has down played the relationship out of fear of criticism. He should stand up and be honest about it. It doesn''t make him a terrorist. but not telling the truth or being dishonest makes him untrustworhty. - Reply to this comment
