Wow, I really riled you up with that one!
You responded TWICE - and you resorted to name-calling BOTH times. LOL! - Reply to this comment
- Jul 15, 2008 ... Bush Says Country in ''''Challenging Time'''' But Economy ''''Basically Sound'''', - (EXCEPT FOR CLINTON''S UREREGULATED SUB-PRIME MARKET BUBBLE BURST, IT IS)
How could the President be so out of touch - (TOO BUSY CLEANING UP AFTER THE LAST DEMOCRATIC PRESIDENT)
Remember he took a month long vacation prior to 9/11 - (HAD TO DEAL WITH CLINON''S UNREGLATED INTERNET BUBBLE BURST 1ST)
Cheney didn''''t have one meeting on securing the homeland prior to 9/11 one of the duties Bush made him in charge of (CLINTON HAD BEN LADEN IN US SITES & DIDN''T PULL THE TRIGGER)
Cheney did meet with Enron and Oil exec nine times though (COULD IT BE TO TALK ABOUT ENENGY INDEPENDENCE)
Now Bush/Cheney are working behind closed doors for a $700 billion dollar taxpayer funded Wall Street bailout (YES, WITH DEMOCRATS) - Reply to this comment
- Privatizing the airwaves is an example of the goals right wing private empire building ideologues would push for. The ideology that is taking this nation backwards to a time prior to the american revolution. A time made for capitalist oligarchic rulers.

Thank you for your comment! It IS so very true!
That''s why Reps in Congress worked so hard to de-regulate communications laws! The big companies can come along and swallow up all the little ones!
Gee, I read an article about 3-4 weeks ago that was talking about this very subject! Essentially, it said the vast majority of all American broadcast media was in the hands of just four companies! So, they can pretty much squelch anything they don''t want on the air! - Reply to this comment
- Both political parties are owned by Wall Street. Even Warren Buffet admits the class war is on and the RICH are WINNING.
But the American sheeple just bend over and take it, once again. If this was Europe there would be mass demonstrations, tires burning, etc. That is what is needed. - Reply to this comment

I see - it''s all a VAST conspiracy to deprive you of free TV smut.
And you haven''t even TRIED the converter box yet.
Isn''t it time for your meds? - Reply to this comment
- Take $700,000,000,000 and divide it by the number of US citizens over 18, and then send us a check.

That would be Inflationary, because most of the money would be spent, whilst the banks will hold onto this loot, cos they need to hide the holes in their balance sheets.
Japan here we come, ''zombie banks'' is the start it seems. - Reply to this comment
- This is not just a bailout of Wall Street, but a bailout of the Democratic Party.
The Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 (Carter Administration), modidified by the Clinton Administration, opened the sub-prime mortgage market without regulating it.
Responsible banks, seeing the risks involved, did not participate in this market and are in good shape today, ie. Bank of America.
Those that saw it as an opportunity, primarily unregulated Wall Street investment banks, got greedy and were able to leverage themselves up to 40 times their availible capital, ie. Lehman Brothers.
Today, money is flowing to those banks with stable balance sheets and with FDIC protection from those illiquid banks, money market funds , etc.. - there is no real illiquidity problem, only a political scare the Democrats have created. Specifically New York Senators Clinton & Schumer crying to the Fed & Treasury over the loss of NY jobs.
Let the illiquid financial institutions fail and please prevent another Democrat from ever becoming President!

- Don''t Let Bush bailout Wall Street with $700 Billion in Tax Payer money!
Email your States Senators, Congressperson, House Representatives and DEMAND that they vote NO on any Bailout because this money will just be used to pay off Wall Streets debt that they created themselves through their own greed by marketing bundled bad mortgage loans!
We have also sent sorning emails to George Bush, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, McCain, Obama saying we will vote them OUT of Office.
Watch this video which show which lawmakers are responsible for the sub-prime mortgage mess at http://wallstreetmarketnews.blogspot.com/2008/09/who-is-to-blame-for-wall-streets-700.html - Reply to this comment
- TERM LIMITS FOR ALL MEMBERS OF CONGRESS - that''s my solution.
It''s nice they''re making progress on a solution. But if they were doing their jobs THIS PROBLEM NEVER WOULD HAVE HAPPENED in the first place.

- scambai, the majority of Americans are invested in some way for their retirements.
This bailout helps almost all Americans.
The economists can not even predict recessions with any accuracy. And, most of them do not have intimate knowledge of the credit markets like Paulson and Bernanke (also an Economist). - Reply to this comment
- scambai, a lot of those guys are not Americans.

- Wall Street did not cause this mess, although they are complicit in it. Don''t let the politician smoke and mirrors class warfare talk fool you!! WE HAVE SHORE UP THE CREDIT MARKETS OR WE ARE IN BIG, BIG TROUBLE. ALL OF US, NOT JUST THE "FAT CATS". But watch this video to see who really caused this mess. Then we need to throw the bums out of DC who got us in this mess. This is really, really important. If link doesn''t work, go to www.youtube.com and search for "burning down the house". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5tZc8oH--o

- All television viewers must have cable by then after the nation goes digital and the era of free public airwaves ends. Maybe that''''ll boost the economy.

I guess you didn''t hear about the FREE CONVERTER BOXES that will convert FREE DIGITAL TV off the airwaves into the old analog signal that will STILL WORK with your old TV set.
You can get two coupons per household for free converter boxes.
So, unless you''re some freak who relies on a battery-powered set as your only TV, you can keep getting all the free TV you want.
But then, considering the smut and filth that broadcast TV has become in recent years, I''m not sure why you WANT free TV.
But, just to deflate your whine and geez party, I thought I''d mention it. - Reply to this comment
