In repsonse to ONE OF THE BETTER DECISIONS EVER MADE BY JOHN MCCAIN. This debate is not as important as the economic crisis.

This is not about the economic crisis you idiot. This is a campaign ploy to stop Obama''s momentum. John McCain is scumbag and it John McCain that has used the econimic crisis for politcal gain NOT Obama.

The only way John McCain can be a hero again is if he sells his 7 houses and 13 cars and moves back to the Hanoi Hilton and I for one would be yelling good-bye and good riddence.

John McCain suspends campaigning to work on economy, requests postponing Friday debate; asks Obama do the same

This just PROVES that McCain is playing the Delay Game and is not Ready to Answer the Hard Questions and is not ready to be president.

Actually, I agree. This is the best possible thing McCain could have done. He''s in a trap and also in over his head. So calling for himself and Obama to meet with Bush is probably the right thing to do.

I have a better idea. If McCain wants to expedite discussion about the economy, have the debate as scheduled but make it about domestic issues/economy. The 3rd debate was going to be domestic issues anyway, so they can instead use that date for foreign policy. With 40 days left before the election, it makes alot more sense to change to order of the debates than to postpone or reschedule them.

Smoke and mirrors.

He''s getting trashed, so he wants to stop the momentum.

Sorry, John. If you had remained a straight talker and not sucked up to Rove and the rest of your lobbyist cabal and vetted a real choice for VP, you wouldn''t be circling the drain.

Yes, now he has to rush back to DC and act like he''s been doing something about this before this week- to cover all of his earlier mis-statements!
