- [The fact is ... no regard for privacy, decency, or the law - they will just do ANYTHING in an attempt to destroy an opponent.]

your characterization succinctly describes the conspiricy to out valerie plame after joe wilson criticized the bush admins policy in waging war in iraq.
the only difference is ... the hack of palin''s email came from some kid in middle america who holds no power over anyone ... and the plame incident involved roughly twenty individuals sitting in the highest seats of power in the world. - Reply to this comment
- I think that both Dems & Reps agree on this issue.
It is not unethical to read other people''s email in the 3rd person, (THEIR email).
It is only when the stolen email is in the first person, (OUR email) that is wrong. - Reply to this comment
- tru_america1,
How many times do they have to report that nothing but private email was found in the account before you catch on? The biggest problem with liberal voters is they can''t read print smaller than 1 1/2", therefore they never go beyond the headlines and pictures. (Something the media is obviously banking on)
By the way, the possibility that there might be something illegal in her email doesn''t make it legal for someone to hack into it. There''s always the possibility you are up to no good, that doesn''t give me the right to get into your private email. - Reply to this comment
- The Repugs think they can spy, torture, abduct and murder on their own say-so, but let someone read Sarah Palin''s official email! Oh no!
That''s what happens when you destroy the Constitution, Neocon Scum. - Reply to this comment
- If he is guilty then he should be punished.

- If THIS were a dem, say your messiah, this would be the top story at the onset. Funny how you libs holler, scream, stomp your burni moli shoes and any invasion of privacy but if it''s a Republican, give a shoot, right? Good way to get the country united. Such hate on your side is astounding.
And for the idiot who claims Palin used her government account for private emails gee, one lib was PO''d because she used a private account that he/she claimed she did that so her emails couldn''t be used in court against her. Make up your collective one mind, for God''s sake. - Reply to this comment
- This idiot kid is just like the idiot kid of the Wisconsin Dem Congresswoman who slashed the tires of vans that the Reps were going to help people to their voting place.
By some twisted logic, Dems believe that illegal actions on their part are not really illegal just because they disagree with the republicans.
Put him in jail and give him the boot from college. Maybe then he will figure out that there are consequences for his actions. - Reply to this comment
- I have no problem whatsoever with her email being hacked.
Zero.
The Republicans have been illegally spying on us and hacking our email for years. Now that it happens to them it''s all whining and carrying on.
Sorry, you''re crooks. Why should I care if you get victimized yourselves? - Reply to this comment
- [Experts said the hacker apparently left an easy trail for investigators. "He might as well have taken a picture of his house and uploaded it," said Ken Pfeil, an Internet security expert. "He should have just set up a big beacon that said, ''Here''s my house,'' or confessed. If they can''t catch this guy based on all the information posted on the Web then all bets are off." ]
he''s hardly a hacker if he, in fact, left this type of trail.
a true hacker is kinda like a modern day republican ... they''re likely to do damage ... but are never in a position to take any responsibility for it ... and let others take the fall instead. - Reply to this comment
- "The McCain campaign confirmed the break-in and called it a "shocking invasion of the governor''s privacy and a violation of law."
But McClone''s OK with the FBI hacking thousands of people''s email without a warrant, channeling all email communications through their locked room in San Francisco!
Guess only important people like McClone and Bush Baby Palin deserve rights.
The rest of you peasants--bend over for a body cavity inspection! Great Leader McClone wants to see where the sun don''t shine! - Reply to this comment
- I guess we are all wondering if this kid was set up to do this by his dad and Dems. His dad is already screaming alibi for himself and throwing his son under the bus which seems sadly to be a modus operandi lately on the Dem side.
It would have been much more refreshing and ethically positive if the father would have taken responsibility for his son''s actions and stood by his son. What an incredible statement that would have made. - Reply to this comment
- After my fellow party members smeared 2 prominent Democratic leaders, Bill and Hillary, to put a racebaiting emptysuit into office (aka, bush2.0)...I have no doubt it was a "dem''s" kid who did such a horrible invasion of privacy.
Then to find out there was nothing of interest in it, is freakin awesome.
Of course, this is the same followers of uhbama who created a website called retardedbabydotcom....
HillaryDems are disgusted at this group of far left nutters! - Reply to this comment
