Posted by Obiden08: Don''t belittle me. I probably have more degrees than you have teeth. You''re right, I inadvertently mentioned the trooper in error. You want to debate Constitutional law? I study constitution law and am working on my next Masters, not too mention probably one of a hand full of people who will take the bar and pass it without having to achieve a J.D in the toughest state in the nation. Careful who you call an idiot. I%u2019ll be teaching post graduate studies in an array of disciplines within months, while you%u2019ll probably still be obtaining your edumication via Google and the media, believing every unsubstantiated piece of feigned info and lack of credible authorship you can get your hands on. I%u2019ve been writing successful case arguments for many years, and am adept at research, including economical issues. So save your B.S. rhetoric for some of your subnormal intelligence friends who may be impressed with your unqualified mendacious commentary!

"HAHAHAHAHA. Obama''''s tax increase is not selective dummy. If you make over 250K, you''''re getting your taxes raised. Independents, business owners, everyone......

Obama'''' checks are not selective dummy. If you receive one, guess what, you have to count that as "Earned Income"......
Taxes raise, so will the price of goods. That''''s what happens.
So, I ask you again, how is Obama gonna save me money?"

Incredible.

OK, first point first.
1. You, as an individual, will be able to buy from various sources, some of which are not even in this country. Presumably, it''s better to have these dollars in your pocket, than in some company''s or fat cat''s balance sheet.

2. If you get a $3,000 check and pay $1,000 in taxes, are you not $2,000 richer??!
3000 - 1000 = 2000

And I''m a dummy! LOL

FEDERAL HOUSING ENTERPRISE REGULATORY REFORM ACT OF 2005 (Bill pdf )

The United States Senate

May 25, 2006

Statement by John McCain
Sen. John McCain [R-AZ]: Mr. President, this week Fannie Mae''s regulator reported that the company''s quarterly reports of profit growth over the past few years were "illusions deliberately and systematically created" by the company''s senior management, which resulted in a $10.6 billion accounting scandal.

.....

I join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 1 90, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation. If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system and the economy as a whole.

I urge my colleagues to support the swift action of this GSE reform legislation.

READ IT AND WEEP DEMOCRAPS! Who co-sponsored the solutuion in 2006???

It wasn''t OBAMA!!!!

Posted by misha128: Well if you are going to make this a per capita type comparison. You have to include the cost of living in Alaska in comparison to Illinois.

Posted by ajcwashere at 05:37 PM : Sep 20, 2008

By the way, note what ajc just said in justification of Palin''s success at getting earmarks:

"The rest of America is responsible for subsidizing Alaska."

Purty good, huh? The Party of Responsibility doesn''t quiver at the thought of you being responsible for their welfare...

Oh, wait - Republicans don''t say "welfare" when they are getting it...they say "privatization"...

Doesn''t fit, somehow...

Yes McCain... who is known as a champion of deregulation, but now wants to regulate, who says he would fire the Republican SEC chairman as if that man did not do exactly what he was hired to do (nothing) and McCainPosted by stoplying08 at 05:36 PM : Sep 20, 2008

Yes true, and he didn''t even know you cannot fire a SEC Chairmen. Calls it the FEC, and his senility, and temper is being worked up, he acts like a school boy who just tells one lie after another, and gets deeper and deeper. He has always lied," see folks the streets of Baghdad are safe," will anyone forget that. He is a man that will say or do anything to be elected

What is the cost of living difference in Alaska -- Something considerably less that 3,500% of what it is in Illinois I would guess.
