Document Reveals Trip To Washington Supposedly Unauthorized Was Approved By Her Office
- In fact, McCain''''s full quote said he would also fight for those who "lost their jobs" and "savings," and he has proposed assistance for homeowners. (FactCheck.org)

In Michigan I believe his words were for his desire to help a specific single family recover their losses in real estate INVESTMENTS (note plural). His assistance only seems to apply to people with multiple houses like he has -- that would seem to include the speculators that most seem to claim deserve no protection. - Reply to this comment

However there would have been be significant money in the under-regulated failing financial markets had McCain and Bush succeeded in the privatization plans. McCain still proposes the same deregulation for the Health Care markets -- doesn''t learn anything new even from current events does he. There are reported impacts to State Public Employee Retirement plans -- none seemingly fatal yet.
The Bush Administration, The Republicans in Congress are lining up to block assistance for homeowners and I have yet to hear an exception for those that were the targets of inappropriate conduct by loan officers or financial institutions, many examples of which are already being investigated and/or prosecuted by federal authorities after enforcement efforts started only in earnest after the crisis was exposed.
Other that Senator McCain''s often repeated comments about not bailing anyone out and "reluctantly" (ha-ha) accepting the bailouts after the fact or only after their implementation was inevitable has he stated a position change since he said all borrowers were on their own PERIOD without comment as to the responsibility for any misconduct on the part of the lenders? - Reply to this comment

There is plenty of distortion on both sides. These are just the most recent.
He (Obama) tells Social Security recipients their money would now be in the stock market under McCain''s plan. False. (FactCheck.org)
An Obama-Biden ad says McCain supports "cutting benefits in half" for Social Security recipients. False! (FactCheck.org)
Biden used partial quotes to support his charge that McCain wouldn''t help "small borrowers" suffering in the mortgage crisis but would "fight for those that lost their ... real estate investments." In fact, McCain''s full quote said he would also fight for those who "lost their jobs" and "savings," and he has proposed assistance for homeowners. (FactCheck.org) - Reply to this comment

Nope. Not true.
The "Bridge to Nowhere" is important because it shows Sarah Palin to be a liar. She did not say "no" as she has repeatedly claimed. She was FOR it until it was killed by Congress!
"Troopergate" is important because there is significant evidence that Sarah Palin abused her power as Governor and is now attempting to cover it up. Clearly an investigation is necessary as was readily recognized by the Republicans who instigated the original investigation. - Reply to this comment

- Palin would have fit well in the Bush administration. Everytime she opens her mouth she is telling anothter lie. Palins abuse of power is the same as when Bush/Cheney had the U.S. attorneys fired. Palin isnt very bright and doesnt know much of anything, exactly like Bush. Palin is also a fanatic that thinks government should be ran by GOD....Bush and Palin could be twins!!!!
