Document Reveals Trip To Washington Supposedly Unauthorized Was Approved By Her Office
- Lay off Ted Kennedy. He may have gone through a bad period---but then he had seen two brothers shot down by radicals--and people were pressuring him to become the third. None of us can possibly understand that kind of pain and pressure. Yes, he made a mistake back then and it was tragic but he pulled himself up and has served many years with great honor and ability. I am very proud of him.

- It was probably only one person who hacked into Palin''s email. Perhaps he was a Democrat but the rest of us Democrats had nothing to do with it. Most Democrats are law abiding, honorable people.

- The not-using-the-computer-deal has nothing to do with McCain''s torture. I''m sure that if he has the ability to be a Senator and run for President, he could have found a way to use the computer---voice activation etc. McCain''s story was really touching when he was one of the most eloquent voices against our using water boarding and other forms of torture. I really admired him them. But on that issue and others, he sold his soul and turned around 180 degrees. And as far as his being a hero---he was just doing what most of us would give our eye teeth to do----fly as a Navy Pilot. Most of us would jump at the chance even with knowing of the possible tragic possibilities. He was a hero to me when he spoke-out in Congress against torture---but when he became a turn-coat on that issue, he lost his lustre for me and just became another old man, living off his wife''s beer fortune.

Computers do not require keyboard skills any longer. There are voice activated systems, used by many today regardless of their abilities to use keyboard. Computer usage is open to a far larger group of individuals and voice response systems alone ignoring all other technologies do open access to significant portions of the internet, e-mail and other services to those who are merely not interested in using a keyboard.
But you still have to be smart enough to use the device. The last thing we need in the White House is another intellectually challenged individual. - Reply to this comment
- Abuse of power for personal ends is not a trait that either Alaska or the US needs. We should all be outraged that Palin is trying to bring shame upon Commissioner Monegan. This man deserves the metal of honor. He is a true hero for standing up. McCain and Palin should now fade out of public life before they are impeached.

- With all due respect - anyone who puts up an ad ''''''''mocking'''''''' someone for having a disability due to being tortured for defending his country is a disgrace to humanity,
Obama - you are a disgrace.

I believe it was his town hall in Sterling Heights -- his comments even televised locally and nationally.

It appears it was his acceptance speech.

- In Michigan I believe his words were for his desire to help a specific single family recover their losses in real estate INVESTMENTS (note plural). His assistance only seems to apply to people with multiple houses like he has -- that would seem to include the speculators that most seem to claim deserve no protection.
