Well I sure hope you and those other women aren''t voting for Palin just because she is a "woman".
There''s a big difference between Hillary''s "brain" and Palin''s. - Reply to this comment
- Any American Citizen who votes Republican is really missing a bolt. It''s amazing that they cannot see what is in their best interest and pocket book....why do you think the Rich have gotten richer and the middle class is shrinking. Housing, gas, jobs, wars....what more do these flag waving, Bible Thumping, phonies have to do to get people''s attention?

Wow - good post. Republicans also have the money to get pregnant via in-vitro fertilization clinics, then don''t care about all the embryos that were created and that get destroyed when they don''t need them anymore. Don''t see Republicans rallying around a fertilization clinic demanding that it be shut down, do you? - Reply to this comment
- He picked her because she''s a female - NO OTHER reason!! He''s going after the 18 million Hillary voters. He''ll be lucky to pick up 1800 of them!!

No, there''s one other reason - he picked her because Rush Limbaugh and the other right wing crazies told him to. He''s become their lap dog. - Reply to this comment
A Republican is someone who supports the rights of the unborn, but won''t fund stem cell research that could help the millions who are already here. The first one to protest abortion rights, and the first one willing to take a life through capital punishment. Someone who espouses personal freedom, and then tries to pass constitutional amendments to restrict it. Someone threatened by government surplus but unfazed by goverment deficits. Someone who is pro-business but anti-citizen. Someone who wants to take away the helping hand, after he''s made it to safety. Someone who holds a cross in one hand and tries to burn it with the other.- Reply to this comment
- We can all hope that the standard of education in America improves to the point where a Republican can no longer be voted into office.

- Arianna Huffington must be pissing her Socialist Liberal Elitist granny panties when it was reported that Hillary Clintons leading supporter Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild, Katie couric, and millions of other women are now planning to vote for McCain/Palin!
But why is the liberal media still saying that women who supported Hillary won''t go for Palin? I am a Hillraiser woman and I am voting for McCain/Palin and millions more women will shift their vote too! Every woman I know is supporting for McCain even women, who like myself, have been Democrates all of our lives. Obama sucks and why is Michelle Obama HIDING? Barak probably told her to stay home with the kids like a woman should be doing. Obama is such a sexist pig! Why doesn''t Barak send his own brother who lives on $1 a month a little more money? Obviously he has no family values.
I heard that Obama refuses to release a list of his campaign advisors to the media even though he tries to attack McCain about having lobbyists for his camoaign managers. I found out that one of Obamas secret campaign advisors is none other than George Soros the Socialist market manipulator. I am trying to find out who the other "Secret Advisors" are to Obama. - Reply to this comment

Hey Shazam, I pop in once in awhile. Although I admit that posting too often can burn you out. Having four brother''s taught me how to argue, but this site is sometimes too much. I see your debating about politics/fruit today and I know you''re loving it. I think you like to be a stinker, but that''s the beauty of posting. - Reply to this comment

I hope not, because McCain may be disappointed. Do women vote for those that look like them or vote for those who will uphold similar ideologies.
Sarah and Hill are 180 out from each other on political stances and I can''t see too many intelligent women jumping from one party to the other just because Sarah is a female.
Sure, it was a thrill to all of us ladies that the GOP picked a female VP. Historical election, no matter which way it goes.
That said, "Sarah looks like me, think I''ll vote for her" is the least concideration a woman should give a candidate. - Reply to this comment
- Harry Truman would never have passed the tests imposed by the mainstream media on Sarah Palin, a test not imposed on Barack Obama. The criticism has been unrelenting and clearly unfair. To believe they are anything but sexist is to deny reality.

Ms. Palin comes to the nomination with extensive and proven administrative experience as the chief executive of local and state government. It is a natural step to proceed to the next level of government on a federal level.
Every aspect of her decisions is open for review, unlike that of the head of the Democratic ticket. The best reviews never come from the mainstream media; they come from politicians'' constituents, where she has had overwhelming approval. That is the real vetting test.
Americans are an innately fair people. The mainstream media has not been fair in this election process, but the people, I trust, will even the odds.

Funny, I remember trying to have an intellectual conversation with you as well. It was hard to get you to drop your well-built walls but you did for a bit.
The trouble is that computers make it too easy to believe that there aren''t human beings listening to what you say. There are, and the dialogue is disheartening.
And the last thing I ever claim to be is intellectual. What I do claim is that I am human first, an American second, and a liberal third.
The first shows my soul, the second shows my loyalty, and the third shows a political affiliation, not my character but a political opinion.
And I like to discuss with conservatives the fact that they too are human first and Americans second and on those grounds is where our commonality is. A far bigger ground than our political opinions can cover. Not one word of this is superior to you in any way.
It is a simple attempt to connect with fellow citizens on a larger plane than opinion. - Reply to this comment
First, obama gives Hillary a swift kick in the butt
and she leaves like a dog running with her tail
between her legs.
Next she backs out of this like a dog that knows
what it feels like to get kicked.
Way to go obama-08!- Reply to this comment
- If I was Hillary, I''d be madder at CBS for placing an unflattering picture next to a fresh-faced Palin. Hillary looks real tired, what were they thinking using that photo? On a serious note, this event the article is talking about would have been to strange for either party at this point. It doesn''t bother me that Hillary wouldn''t attend because of Palin, she probably just didn''t want to deal with the neverending media and felt like she was being used to create a story. Although, I must say that it would have played well for her if she had attended, now it kind of looks like she ran. I think you can still be a faithful democrat or republican and still attend the same function as the opposing party.
