Barbra Streisand Is Among Several Celebrities Helping Obama Raise Cash For DNC, Democratic Party
- Oh, Barack Obama? You''''''''re newly-minted celebrity candidate with no real-world experience but a knack for lying every time his lips move? Yes, I would say your characterization is dead on. He is sucking up to Celebs as we speak.

I guess that door swings both ways. Sarah Palin has just as much experience. Unless you call being able to see Russia Experience. God her State has less people than the Chicago Metro Area. - Reply to this comment
- (CBS/ AP) Barack Obama partied with Hollywood celebrities Tuesday night and with the help of Oscar-winning singer and actress Barbra Streisand
Meanwhile John McCain was out listening to voters in Blue Collar Ohio.

So, what''s your point?
McCain attended a fundraiser at the Beverly Hills Hilton at the end of August, which included a number of Hollywood Republicans, capping off a $4.7 million, two-event day in the Golden State.

- McCain is the ultimate opportunist and gold-digger. He married a heiress and at last count owns 7 homes -- although he can''''t really remember how many homes he owns -- he''''s getting a little senile.

You must be a bit senile yourself since you can''t remember that you keep posting the same thing over & over. That''s a sign of dementia. - Reply to this comment
- Also I need to make a small correction to your new campaign slogan for McCain
"Ready to Follow Bush" George Bush the Change this country needs"

- A true "celebrity," without real experience to become commander-in-chief in a dangerous world.

- So Obama netted money from a Hollywood fund-raiser. He needs the cash because the media is always lying about him. Most of his money comes from people like me, and I''m sending him another nickel and dimes contribution in a few days.
Let''s look at McCain. Who supporte him? All the wealthy lobbyists and CEO''s who are currently getting all sorts of bail-out money. McCain doesn''t care about the national debt, or which little people he hurts, as long as he can give permanent tax breaks and tax cuts for the rich.
While the press makes a big to-do about Obama''s fund raiser, they say nothing about the people who support McCain. Isn''t time for balanced reporting?
P.S. McCain had a Hollywood fundraiser last month. - Reply to this comment
- God are you people stupid. Who Runs the Millitary is the President your right, but who are his military advisors? To Ranking Generals of the Military. Stop your ranting and get over it. You guys are about as lame as the day is long

- That''''s exactly what I said earlier. The Republicans haven''''t been able to top what the Democrats raise. It''''s jealously pure and simple.
I think your right

- Obama is in Hollywood with filthy rich Elites.
McCain is in Ohio with working folks.
Hmmmmm..."
Another classic Republican. Taking half the story and using that against the other. They must be ashamed that they made 5 million the night before
