Comments on: In First Interview, Palin Says She's Ready
Republican VP Nominee Defends Her Qualifications For The Job
- The Republicans have to be kidding. Did they watch the interview. Gov. Palin did not respond directly to any of the questions, and she lied during the entire interview. For example, Charlie Gibson asked repeatedly for 3 thing that they would do to fix the economy...how do you not know the answer to your own plans or lack thereof? Also, you would have to go back to 1940''s for a VP pick that had not met a foriegn leader. Another Gov. Palin classic lie. Also, the McCain / Palin team is now going to stop earmarks that she benefited the most from during her tenure to date.
This is the best VP pick???? The country is in trouble if this team wins. Mark my word. - Reply to this comment
- I believe Sarah palin when she says she is absolutely ready to be President of the United States if it comes to that.
She has proven that nearly everything we were told about her from the McCain campaign and just about everything she told us in her acceptance speech and the Republican convention speech has been proven to be false, either a distortion of facts or outright lies.
So if the qualification to be president is a willingness to stand on the national stage and lie to the American people over and over, then she is just as ready as Geoge Bush was. - Reply to this comment
- The more they have to hide her from the inerviews, have others protect her & give her speeches calling herself STRONG-the more she is obviously very weak-no one has to call John strong ,or speak for him.

- From the Inquiring folks who brought you the John Edwards and Bill Clinton affairs: the National Enquirer is Alleging Sarah Palin has had a Sexual relationship With Husband Todd''s Business Partner. Is this the blackmail info Karl Rove has on Sarah? The McCain Campaign is threating to sue and it''s interesting to note that the Enquirer hasn''t lost a law suit in 30+ years.

- Let''s hope we have a better plan this time for any catastrophe with the recent hurricanes than Katrina. (Maybe Obama would be more focused on this than a comedy show ;) By the way, Mccain voted against helping hurricane Katrina victims, I certainly hope no hurricanes hit your neighborhood, I''m sure as President he will rush to your rescue!

- Oh you say, she is more qualified then Obama because she as a small partime mayor(actually a suberb or exberb of Anchorage) and then governor of Alaska where she has no real budget issues, as ALaska is flush with money from the oil prices.
Where Obama was in the Ill. legislature fopr 8 years and the U.S. Senate approaching for years. He runs one of the most efficient campaigns ever of over 2 million people. 2 million people - almost 4 times the size of Alaska''s population. - Reply to this comment

- Support Hillary Clinton and vote for Obama. She got up and said very clearly to do so, no matter what aid or anyone else has to say. Can you imagine what Hillary really thinks of where Palin stands on the ISSUES, where she stands on Healthcare, Foreign Policy, Education and yes taxes. Lets be smart about this election the number one issue is foreign policy.
