You''''re wrong it''''s not an important issue to me at all. considering I''''m not religious person or a christian. But look, Roe v. Wade has divided this country for thirty years and even I can see that there is some moral compass that a society must take regarding sanctity of life. So we''''re stuck now with trying to define when life begins. So reality bites it probably does begin at conception. So then what.

I am not for abortion, but If Roe Vs. Wade is taken away some women will get abortions whether we are for it or not. It will go back to back room abortions coat hanger abortions which is worse if they must do it with safety, and with a way that women don''t die. I know that is a weak argument, but I know the old way must have been pretty bad. You will not stop it with getting rid of Roe vs Wade

only uneducated people as yourself would post a comment like this because if a 14 year old girl gets rape by her father or brother. tell me how is she going to get her hands on the morning after pill Posted by ukgod1 at 02:33 PM : Sep 06, 2008

probably just as unlikely to get her hands on an MD to perform abortion. But look tragic scenario unfortunate things happen every day. Sarah Palin is not going to get into office and make abortions illegal. People have a right to a religious belief. I''d be more scared of someone who voted for late term abortions. Clearly, that person would not value the baby''s right to life.

No, Palin is educated and smart and knows about the ''''morning after'''' pill for rape and incest victims.
Morning after pill means there is no condition in the womb for a baby to be made and murdered.

Actually I''ve been a liberal all my life and still am...but I''m not stupid and see reality very well.

I am and have alway been for giving a hand up and helping people in need. I don''t think my government needs to be involved in it, or pay for it. And I especially don''t believe in my government paying for handouts to those that won''t work!

I think our government can help us take care of the elderly and disabled, yes, absolutely!

And you have this idea that because it is supported with our TAX DOLLARS that it''''s going to be less EXPENSIVE?

Actually what it means is that you are not only going to have some accountant standing between you and your doctor, you are going to have some bureaucrat standing there as well.

Won''''t you just love your government deciding whether you can have treatment or not? Or whether they can afford it?

If you approve of expensive health care, fine, you''ve already got it. I don''t. It indicates to me gross mismanagement and inefficiency.

Health care is NEVER going to be free! It NEVER has been! Even when your employer pays for it, it is part of your SALARY and part of your employer''''''''s budget as employee EXPENSE!
Posted by OBungler at 02:05 PM : Sep 06, 2008

Health care is never going to be free, unless you''''re talking charity, which is already happening. On the other hand, people expect health care to be affordable. Being the most expesive health care system in the world is not an acceptable state of affairs.

Christians are not radicals. They beleive life begins at conception. A rather common held belief worldwide through many ages.

I don''t want to be rude to you I really don''t, because that is an important issue to you but honestly what does that do with National security, the economy, there are so many things wrong today and they will not be fixed because you believe life begins at conception, If we do not look beyond this none of us will have a life let alone produce a life

yeah they say that but when they get into office its something completely different. there even has to discovered that palin was apart of that pork barrel spending with that bridge to nowhere in Alaska even tho she said she stoped it. if you dig even an inch below the surface you would see that both mccain and plain are full of sh*t but unfortunatly the same idiots who bought into john kerry being a flip floper and bush was a man of his word are going to fall for the same tatic again and put mccain into office. that is going to spell the end of this country good luck
