Could it be those images of Katrina forever burned into the American consciousness, which actually requires a conscious...

I believe the governor of Louisiana a democrat has no culpable negligence when Katrina hit. HE IS THE EXECUTOR OF THE STATE.

Hey ckbgsb, let me give you a constitutional lesson here, it''s called freedom of speech. You can argue your nonsense, and I can argue with you. It''s really that simple. We all have a right to assemble. So quit your whining. Give your money to charity. You''ll probably feel better.

Why do you think they ran like rabbits to New Orleans for Gustav, a Cat 2?

How is electing someone who runs a campaign based on divisiveness and attack ads, with a RWT (Republican White Trash ''''Talker'''') as VP going to change that?

Keep picking the pepper out of the fly sh!!t while the rest of us focus on how you and your Republican brethren are the ones that have ran this country into the ditch, see $9,000,000,000,000 debt. In every single case, on every single issue, they have sided with corporate America over the interest of working families. Go right down the list: Iraq, the economy, tax cuts to the wealthy, health care, energy and the environment.

They have time and time again opened the back door for Halliburton and other contractors that have fleeced this country nine ways to Sunday in Iraq to the tune of $23,000,000,000 (completely missing, no one knows, gone) and counting. They let big pharmaceuticals write the perspiration drug plan, Big oil write the energy policy, bailed out their fat cat friends on the mortgage meltdown while telling working families that they are on there own; sided with big insurance companies against the families on the Gulf Coast after Katrina. And they continue to gut the environment and still claim there is no climate change.

She''''s smiling a little more, after all, "This is the first time in her life she''''s proud to be an American."

Note to the manure spreaders. Time and time again the American people have called for an end to partisanship and divisiveness in Washington.
