Face it this Palen is a trashy, vindictive broad with a dysfunctional family, a *** secessionist from the United States, an oil ***, a gun nut and a religious whacko with no experience picked by a senile nitwit who likes young women...john Mcsame. Disgusting choice but it fits this republican party of nutballs. Cant wait to drub them out of office come November. What a joke they are.

Since being nominated Sarah Palin has been avoiding interviews at all costs. If she can''t stand up to Wolf Blitzer, what chance does she have against Vladimir Putin?

Which is worse: That they failed to vet Sarah Palin, or after a thorough and well meditated investigation Sarah Palin was the best they could find?

Thanks, we would love the extra Senate seat and make it a Republican Majority, bye bye Reid control....LOL

I''ve got bad news for you - the Dems will have so many more seats than the GOP in the Senate that Loserman won''t make a difference in the Senate''s balance of power any which way.

These statutory rape laws need to be a bit modified. When it comes to 16 & 17 yr olds, it should be based on the age difference between the 2 parties involved. Not the magic age of 18.

Well, thanks for the info, I trust the republicans will be anxious to get out and vote in those states, what happens to Illinois and Biden''''s seats if (god forbid) they got elected ? is it special elections ?

In some of the Senate races it isn''t even close....in Virginia Mark Warner is ahead by 30 points against the Republican and in New-Mexico, Colorado and New Hampshire it is 15 points or more ahead for the Dem candidate.

Biden is from Delaware which is one of the bluest states in the country, so a Dem will take over his seat.

Why Obama Can''t Close the Sale
By AL HUBBARD and NOAM NEUSNER
September 3, 2008; Page A23

Even before John McCain shook up the presidential race by tapping Gov. Sarah Palin to be his running mate, polls weren''t showing the late-August lead that Barack Obama (and many Republicans) expected. Why so?

It''s not because of the brilliance of the McCain campaign. Rather we believe that -- despite the media''s best efforts to exempt Mr. Obama''s policies from critical examination -- American voters aren''t sheep. They pay attention to the candidates and positions and make wise decisions about who should lead the country.

OT - Why is the rape question completely ignored?....

Under Alaska statutory rape laws, if Bristolbaby was conceived while she was 16 then the father has to be either 16 or 17. If not then a FELONY has been committed.

If the father was 15 or younger, then the sexually active Bristol is the guilty party REGARDLESS of consent. If the father is 18 or older then HE is guilty of felony statutory rape REGARDLESS of consent.

When, EXACTLY, is Bristol''s date-of-birth and when, EXACTLY, is the babydaddy''s date-of-birth?

The answer to these two simple questions could either clear up or complicate this issue. I''ll go with the latter......It''ll complicate things dramatically.

Why is this not addressed?.......anyone?

Of course, the Governor could issue a pardon to either one.

wow, you are very optimistic about the Senate seats up for re-election, sounds a little far fetched, but go ahead and try, now the Republican party is having a re-surgence with Sarah Palin energizing the ticket

If you look at the Senate races, Dems will pick up seats in Alaska, Oregon, Colorado, New-Mexico, Virginia, New Hampshire, and Minnesota. If this is a good year we will win seats in North Carolina and Kentucky as well.

In what way will Independent Lieberman be punished for speaking at the Republican convention ? stripped of chairmanship of committees ? what

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Posted by Minuteman-5 at 01:35 PM

He will be stripped as chairman because in the fall the Dems will get anywhere from 57-60 seats in the Senate and they will no longer need this lying scumbag on their side.

MC CAIN ONLY NEEDS A FEW PERCENT OF HILLARY VOTERS... and judging from the anger I see in women, he''''s going to get them.

Women supported Hillary because of her mind and her views not because she had breasts! You must have a low view of women if you think they are dumb enough to support Palin simply because she is a woman.

We have a genuine crisis in our country of epic proportions. We need to elect a president who will access every natural resource such as wind and solar energy and promote every technology known to us to loosen the grip dependence on foreign oil has on us. www.themanhattanprojectof2009.com

I hope we don%u2019t change our mind and make this campaign about the issues. If this campaign becomes about the issues and not about Obama, then we lose the election.
