CBSNews.com Analysis: As Everyone Awaits Palin’s Emergence, McCain Shows His Convention Will Be Somewhat Unconventional
- I am a huge feminist and an ultra-liberal. I am pro-choice and I am in favor of Senator Obama''s policy of terminating the life of aborted babies even when they manage to survive the abortion process.
But even though I am liberal, I am appalled by the media coverage of Sarah Palin. The woman should be treated with respect and dignity as the first woman VP on the Republican ticket. If the media keeps disrespecting Palin just because she is a woman, then I will vote Republican for the first time in my life. - Reply to this comment
- Putkin must be laughing his *** off at the stupidities being perpetuated upon the American nation.....we are ripe for a plucking if these two dopes:PALEN AND MCSAME should ever gain the White House. Two dopes as bad as the bush/cheney criminals.

- Palen is a cheap looking OPPORTUNIST selected by a desperate fool supported by a party of fascists, oil men, militarist, corporate toadies..just as President Eisenhower warned us of...they are scum and a threat to our American Republic. Palen is not even loyal to the UNITED STATES BUT BELONGS TO A STINKING SECESSIONST PARTY. She is unfit to for her role and is a traitor to America. Kick her out.

- exhausted3: It''''s not so much of an attack on her, as it is an attack on McCains intelligence. He had far more qualified candiates to choose from, and yet he picked a junior governor from Alaska, who apparently never got vetted. And it shows his lack of judgement. This was horrible. And very well could have cost him the election.

good point, also the daughter is news, she is in the public eye now, just like britney spears sister who is pregnant. That is more of a statement on our society than our political parties. - Reply to this comment

- As I continue to watch the media bias this campaign with skewed facts about Palin and virtually no facts about Obama, I get extremely alarmed. The job of the media is to be unbias and yet I continue to see the media''''s choice candidate. I''''m not republican or democratic. I''''m a free thinker and this free thinker is watching us get manipulated by the press. I don''''t like it one bit. Obviously, Palin has struck a nerve with the democratic party and it''''s followers and that''''s why so much retaliation has transpired against her. The irony is that a vulnerable 17 year old pregnant teen is being attacked by the very party that says its goal is to protect the rights of its citizens. Now that''''s the pot calling the kettle black. The media has carried this pregnancy issue way beyond what it should have. This is nothing but tabloid journalism and has caused the media to loose major credibility in my book.
She''''s real and represents many of the American citizens. I like her and I want to hear what she has to say without the interruptions of the press.

- SEXIST DEMONIC-RATS,,, and the real reason biden commutes,,,
A TIME-WARPED SEXIST ASSAULT
HOLY hoop skirts: When did the clock tick back to 1958?
When Joe Biden tragically lost his wife and infant daughter in a car wreck in 1972, not a single colleague, friend or competitor advised him to quit his newly won Senate seat to raise his two little surviving sons.
Rather, he was sworn into office from the injured boys'' bedside, and took to commuting an hour and a half each way from Delaware to Washington. And when Biden''s second wife gave birth to a daughter, no one thought to ask him to step aside and stay home.

- Thanks, we would love the extra Senate seat and make it a Republican Majority, bye bye Reid control....LOL
-Posted by Minuteman-5
Minuteman the GOP is praying that only 6 seats fall in the senate in fact they are hoping to only lose just 20 seats in the house. By Next year the next president will be up to his neck in Democrats and on top of that the few Republicans left in congress will be so afraid they will not dare to try anything.
Sorry to disapoint you wing nut neo cons but your day came and went. - Reply to this comment
