When school nurses & counselors distribute condoms, most teens see this as approval of premarital ***. I would have, wouldn''t you? I think there are better ways to provide counseling.

Sarah Palin is destined to become one of those minor, but amusing footnotes in American history. Her place on the McCain ticket is rapidly turning into a carney freak show, and Sarah is right up there with the two headed calf and Zip the Pinhead. Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the Republican Party Convention of 2008.

, I have always been tired of the GOP using Religion and God to sway voters%u2026.it should simply be about the critical issues and the best leaders to build concensus and implement necessary change to help ALL Americans, not just the faithful. I thought it was hypocritical that Gov. Palin had her poor 17year old daughter holding the 4-month baby with a blanket covering her belly%u2026if she was sooo proud, why were they hiding this? This is so obviously a tactic and it insults educated women like me who can see right thru this risky move. I wonder how the GOP and the media would react if it was a political family that happeed to be Hispanic or black? Would we see it as simply a %u201Ccommon mistake%u201D?! or, would we call it another example of the lack of American values and a baby out of wedlock?!?

Clearly there is a double standard and hypocrisy%u2026Again, it should be about the best candidates and focus on issues.

I''m watching the GOP convention. Carly Fiorini said they chose Palin because women will really relate to her and how she balances career and family. As a mother, I think she''s out of balance right now. With a new baby and her pregnant daughter and her other two kids, she should be focusing more on family rathr than running for VP!

I don''t really think Palin will help with women. I don''t think Hillary voters will go for her. But I do think she could help McCain with the radical right wing evangelicals because she''s so far right. I don''t think she''ll help with any other segment.

The bible says: "Torture is cool."
The bible says: "Start a ministry with money you scare out of little old ladies with threats of damnation. With that same money, buy limos, jet planes, professional chefs, and all the trappings of an elite lifestyle. Buy your prostitutes, male of female...your choice...and cheat smarminly on your wives, whilst at the same time berating adultery."

Some people think it makes no sense not to help out teenaged unwed mothers. They haven''t learned from the Great Society, AKA the Welfare State. What you pay for you get more of; what you tax you get less of.

We need to get less unwed mothers. Let''s stop rewarding it. And let''s stop encouraging it in public schools.
