The human body does not come supplied with an owner''s manual. It is the height of irresponsibility to deny young people who are approaching puberty with at least the basic knowledge and understanding of reproductive health. While, ideally, the parents should take on this role, there are too many who won''t or can''t.Kids need to be taught basic ***-ed prior to puberty and abstinence-only programs have been shown to have an abysmal failure rate. Unfortunately, Bristol Palin is an example of this. Best wishes to her; it won''t be easy.
