@ t_barr:

Well, at least you''re being totally honest (re: doing the research). It is a rather interesting situation. As slowly as our courts move, this suit probably won''t be resolved for years. Wouldn''t it be something if Obama only served for 4 years, and it was found out after he left office that he really didn''t meet the technical requirements to be President? What then? LOL...

@ t_barr:

He was born in Hawaii.

If his mother''s new husband felt that he should to "the right thing" and adopt young Barrack, then good for him!

That doesn''t change the fact that Barack was born in Hawaii as a US citizen.

It''s the silly "adoption" part that I see as an utterly meaningless technicality.

This guy is obviously going to lose in court - and perhaps that''s Berg''s intention: to remove any lingering doubts about the legitimacy of Obama''s legal status once and for all?

Ya think?

Fine, but you are wasting your vote and therefore irrelevant.

@ t_barr:

So, if John McCain had been born a mere 32 years earlier, he would not be legally able to run for US President.

Lucky McCain, that they passed that law just a few decades before he was born, so his run for President wasn''t isn''t in violation of the Constitution that was written 230 years ago.

But, as I said: big deal. Who cares?

Then again, you could be one of those paid foreign bloggers that Obama has. In that case, I guess you wouldn''''t care about the United States Constitution.

I''''m a United States Veteran, I care.

Then no doubt you dislike Bush, and would not wish to see McSame continue his lawless ways?

@ t_barr:

"If he was born in Hawaii, and he was adopted in Indonesia by Lolo Soetoro, (Obama) would lose his citizenship," Berg said. (quoted from your posted link)

He was obviously BORN in Hawaii, a US state, and nobody has ever contested that fact.

The "adoption" issue sounds like a silly and totally irrelevant technicality to me, if it''s even true at all, and I doubt it is.

McCain, who was actually born in Panama, also relies on a "legal technicality" (a specific exception to the Constitutional requirements) in order to qualify to run for POTUS too.

Six of one, a half-dozen of the other. What difference does it really make? None at all, in my opinion.

For those who choose to bite their nose to spite their face this election year, here is what is at stake this election year and the next four year summed up for your understanding:

Universal Health Insurance = Vote Obama

Employers penalized for providing employee health insurance = Vote McBush.

Don''t let your ignorance get in the way of your well-being and that of your children.
