I am confused as to why you simply don''t call yourselves independents or democrats. There is little to nothing that Obama stands, save perhaps faith based service, that smacks remotely of Republican ideology at any time in the last 50 years.

Don''''t you EVER get sick of distorting, fearmongering and lying?!? Why not try to discuss the policies of McCain and Obama, as well as the misery GW administration has put this country through this past 8 years?? Do republicans ever take blame for the failures of their leaders?

I think many of us would if we believed they had failed. See, here is the thing. Some of us Republicans out here don''t agree with you. I know that must be a shock since you and your ilk are the keepers of all truth. But, as shocking as this may be, some of us think you are, well, wrong. We feel that the President has done a good job on many issues. We don''t blame him for the economic issues and we support his policy in Iraq. It is what is called, in civilized discourse, a difference of opinion. You accuse some of us of "distorting, fearmongering and lying," I fail to see how your rhetoric is any different. You brand Bush some kind of bringer of misery, yet your only proof is your own interpretation of events, events that can be looked at in a variety of ways. Before you begin lecturing others, perhaps you should evaluate you own method of interaction on this site.

When did they let this drunk out of jail?

A few years prior to not convicting your alcoholic, brain-dead, cocaine maniac George W. Bush president.

Enough about Kennedy.

How about the candidates. Here''s McCain at his best: In a speech before the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), John McCain tried to take credit for Senator Jim Webb%u2019s 21st Century GI Bill, claiming that he fought for %u201Ca better bill%u201D while the Webb GI Bill, that was passed by the Senate by a margin of 75-22, was %u201Cflawed legislation.%u201D This distortion of the truth comes as one more example of the Republican candidate presenting himself as a friend to veterans when his legislative record indicates otherwise. From Vetsforobama.org

Now this: Fellow Republicans,

When deciding which candidate is best to now lead our nation, we ask that you consider supporting Senator Barack Obama. The U.S. faces serious challenges that are not being addressed by our political leaders. Elected officials of both sides have found it easier to appease their parties%u2019 fringes to win elections, and media companies choose to shock, amuse and divide us. In the meantime, the problems we face as a nation grow as they are passed on to future generations. From Republicansforobama.org

For those of you on this blog that hate Obama, the Clintons and the Democrats - I wish you would just come out and say you love George Bush, and explain to everyone here what you are so proud of over the past 8 years from this President.
