Modern conservatism is a morally and economically bankrupting philosophy that pushes the insane belief that the answer to all of our problems is to simply move more and more money out of the hands of working people and into the already full pockets of the wealthy. They also push the equally insane belief that America can simply borrow it''s way into prosperity.

With a worthless dollar, skyrocketing inflation, record deficits, record bankruptcies, record unemployment, recession and endless war...working Americans are feeling the fallout of this insanity now.

What I believe is this, a Democratic government serves the people''s interests not the corporate interests or the interests of the wealthy elite. What we''ve had under Republican "trickle down" economics is a government that robs from the working class and gives trillions in "handouts" to the rich all the while running huge deficits.
