Comments on: Giuliani Talks To CBS About Keynote Speech
Exclusive: Former Candidate On McCain, Obama And His Role At The GOP Convention
- Speakers at the Republican Convention....Bush, Laura Bush, Cheney, Lieberman, Giuliani.
Rick Davis (McCain''s campaign mgr) when asked about the speaker lineup said:
"the senator wanted the list of speakers to showcase the "diversity" of the Republican Party."

- and Giuliani dares to bring up Georgia. From the cbsnews.com....."Sen. John McCain''s top foreign policy adviser prepped his boss for an April 17 phone call with the president of Georgia and then helped the presumptive Republican presidential nominee prepare a strong statement of support for the fledgling republic.
The day of the call, a lobbying firm partly owned by the adviser, Randy Scheunemann, signed a $200,000 contract to continue providing strategic advice to the Georgian government in Washington." - Reply to this comment
- CBS why do you allow McCain and his flunkies just give their talking points without any asking any responsible questions? Why didn''t you ask Giuliani about his firm, Bracewell & Giuliani, that handles lobbying for Citgo Petroleum subsidiary of Petrsleos de Venezuela, the state-owned oil company that Mr. Chavez (Venezuela) controls? You know Mr. Hugo Chavez, the guy who called the U.S. the world''s greatest menace. The guy who embraces every enemy of the United States.

- Giuliani has got to be the FAMILY VALUES speaker for the republicans...That will make it exciting....While married to one wife, he has his new girlfriend move into the Mayor''s Mansion in New York City....Now that was classy....No wonder Mccain wants him to Keynote this in his talk, and maybe also do the lead-in for Mccain to talk about a similar experience he had when he dumped---ooopppsss, I mean divorced---his first wife while adulterating with his prospective 2nd wife....but that was a long time ago, not in biblical terms of course, but a long enough time ago nonetheless. So long as he--protects marriage-- from *** and lesbians--they''ll love him, but of course, there is no need to--protect marriage--from divorce, that would simply be inconsistent and another flip-flop, or flop-flip or flap-jack or jack-flap or whatever he is doing about reliogion and family values today....

- Why no report CBS on the caller who was cut-off during his conference call with Giuliani today...now THAT would be more interesting.
