Very sorry to hear. She was a doer. She didn''t sit idly by, she worked tirelessly to help anyone and everyone.

True class as a human being.

If everyone tried and cared for others like she did, there would be no problems in the world.

I wish all you liberals would take a look at some of the comments you made when Jesse Helms, Mike Deaver, or any conservative/Republican died, and now you cry foul when someone makes an idiotic comment on this death? You are the hypocrites of the universe and total scum. I will not stoop to your level of excrement however. I am sorry this woman is dead. I didn''t agree with most of her politics but I am sorry she passed away. And I think it is sickening when people come on here and start pissing on people''s graves.

I have learned that the hate filled comments on this or any bb are silly people trying to gain attention and it is best to just ignore such ridiculous comments.

I am unfortunately reading this after this pioneer died. It is very sad and a terrible tragedy. My condolences go out to her family, friends and supporters. Any life is a loss - but especially a woman who has given so much of her life to supporting a cause that is so noble.

If I were a Democrat and Rep Tubbs were a Republican, I would be cheering her to a speedy grave.

However, I AM NOT a Democrat and therefore I am praying for her, her family , and her friends.

I was still considering who I would vote for in this election, but the Racial Hatred displayed by blackisbest makes my decision much easier.

I believe that ''blackisbest'' is about as black as I am, which is to say not at all. Just a troll trying to get people all hyped up.

Don''t fall for it, just ignore the little tweenie.

"Several news organizations, including The Associated Press, had earlier reported that Tubbs Jones had died. The AP cited a Democratic official.

The reports prompted Sen. John Kerry to issue a statement mourning her passing."

---------------

They have the woman dead and buried already. I swear!

NAVYVET77 "She must be a very strong person because when an aneurysm pops, the person is usually dead before they hit the ground." Not necessarily true. My father lived 11 days after suffering a brain hemorrhage/aneurysm (in the late 70s, in a country with basic healthcare). He spent those 11 days in a coma and being incoherent (i.e. essentially not in his right mind). Brain hemorrhages are a lot more common that people realize. It''s not talked about like cancer, high blood pressure, heart disease, and the like, but they are common.

Aortic aneurysm''s are different. My grandma had this (although it wasn''t the primary cause of her death, it was a major contributor) and her doctor said that if it ruptured, she''d be gone within 15 minutes.

8 years under bush & cheney & the republicons are still loyal.

i''d love to see the republicons have their way.

perhaps they should get together & secede from the union.

i sure wouldn''t stop them.

i wonder if the republicons would start more wars if they didn''t have the rich blue states to pay for them?

Funny, I ALWAYS thought she had "limited brain function". A primarily LIB disease

More evidence that the neocons only care about fetuses, not people.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ms. Tubbs. She must be a very strong person because when an aneurysm pops, the person is usually dead before they hit the ground. Again, I hope she is doing well.
