The McCains have a 19 year old serving in Iraq, another son in the Naval Academy, a daughter who recently graduated from Columbia Univ., an adopted daughter in high school, and a son who was the finance guy at the beer firm.

Raised kids in Phoenix, AZ rather than Washington DC.(better atmosphere). He commuted.

In 1991, Mrs. McCain came across a girl in an orphanage in Bangladesh. Mother Teresa implored Mrs. McCain to take the baby who had a severe cleft palate. She did so without first telling her husband. The couple adopted the girl who has had a dozen operations to repair her cleft palate and other medical problems.

They have a Family Foundation for children''s causes.
She will join an overseas mission of "Operation Smile", a charity for corrective surgery on children''s faces.

She has had two back surgeries and became addicted to pain killers. She talks openly about it which she says is part of the recovery process.

I''m surprised the media is so quiet about her attributes. She sounds more capable than Hillary or Obama.

With McCain elected, we would really get two for the price of one. A person with business and international experience.

John did work for the firm for awhile when he left the Navy.

Here is some information about Cindy McCain from an article in the Wall Street Journal.

She graduated from Southern Cal and was a special-needs teacher.

After her Dad died she became involved with his beer distributing firm and is now the chairwoman. (I think it has since been sold. At least now no one can complain that she makes too much money selling beer.) Sales have doubled after she has took over from her father.

She and Sen. John McCain have a marriage prenuptial agreement; her assets remain separate.

She''s active with "Halo Trust" - to clear land mines, provide water and food in war ravaged and developing
countries. She serves on their board.

Cindy McCain is not running for President; therefore, it isn''t necessary to cast a vote against her. She is not Hillary, she has not declared, "We (meaning her and McCain) are the President."

We shall see.....

Where there''s smoke, there will be fire. Thus far by way of what was and still considered the RAG publication of our Nation, the Enquirer managed to scoop all major media outlets on this issue, hence now it will not grow legs but jet engines.

I still can%u2019t believe the "Rag" scooped MSM. Now that I''ve canceled all subscriptions for Time, NYT, LAT maybe I should book a subscription for the "Rag" to get the truth. As sorry as this sounds, it would have saved me thousands of hours and dollars. The only news I watch now on TV is Jim Lehrer (PBS). He gives the news straight and unadulterated and be damned any political bent. Just like the old days.

If MSM had reported what they knew, it would have first saved Elizabeth this global peek into her inner most sanctums and saved thousands of Edwards supporters their time and money not to mention the hell all are going through now, albeit at different and staggering levels. It''s sad and a pity but hey journalism folks, you brought this on to yourselves as did John.

I%u2019m one shocked Democrat%u2026%u2026.temporarily, meaning Democrat. I%u2019ll be shocked for quite a while after this and other *** going on with my soon to be gone party.

This is the story that won''t go away.

DNC National chairman when asked by Edwards why he could not address the convention.

RESPONSE: Having an affair AFTER your elected President is OK but not while you ARE RUNNING for President! LOL!

I can''t believe this is still getting national coverage. It wasn''t a real story in the first place.

So, poor John''s ''not doing well''. My heart breaks for him (NOT!). I hope he never does well again. I also hope he suddenly, inexplicably, all-of-a-sudden realizes that Elizabeth is the love of his life and he''s going to lose her, and loses it himself!

My question is where is the ''moral'' and ''honest'' (according to her best friend) Rielle? Spirited away somewhere in a five-star hotel paid for by campaign funds?

And to think, I actually thought about voting for Edwards once. Politicians! They''re all alike -- all about themselves and what they can get for themselves.

"I talked to John (Tuesday) and he''s not doing well," said David "Mudcat" Saunders, who served as Edwards'' chief adviser on rural affairs. "He''s just - to be very frank with you - he''s just not doing well."

I guess not, he knows his web of lies will soon be un-covered. It''s never the action that gets you crucified, it''s always the cover up. There is not one politician alive, democrat, republican, or independent that will ever understand this.

Oh, and I''m thinking there isn''t a man alive that wouldn''t want a friend like Fred Baron or Andrew Young around. Fred pays ''em off and Andrew jumps on the Grenade. Something is awry with this scenerio.
