Ariz. Senator Phones Georgia's President; Obama Calls For "Action, Not Just Words" From Russia
- Oh yeah, and Sarkosy was played like a fool today. Agreement withthe Russian President.
Yo....the President doesn''t have that much power in the Russian system. Putin pulls the strings.
What a pretend cease fire. Now because of our new war rationale, Russia is playing the West for fools as well. Oh yeah cease fire and they occupy Georgian territories until the threat is "no longer present". - Reply to this comment
- So the Rusians now use the same "enemy combatant" and "pre-emptive war" arguments that the US has made for terrorists.
Johnny boy......short of bombing Moscow, what really can you do to put the Genie back in the bottle when it comes to justifying armed conflict?
We all have really good firends in the eastern block democracies, just not friends enough to take on a Russia or China are they? - Reply to this comment
- Can''t imagine this joker trying to negotiate with the Russians like Sarkosy did. They would not be able to stop laughing.
We had one idiot in the White House for eight years; I guess we could suffer another one. These guys are dumb and dumber.
We are all Georgians? I thought we were donuts! - Reply to this comment
- Barack Hussein Obama was an angry black muslim, who became an angry black christian who said he would stand with the muslims on 9/11.
Thats not racist. Thats just an observation.

- Wow. That was worldclass pandering from McCain. I am sure the beleaguered Georgian President was really reassured by his empty campaign grandstanding. I am sure he really appreciates that kind of support.

- John McCain''s top foreign-policy adviser, Randy Scheunemann was a paid lobbyist for Georgia. Randy must''ve just been on the phone with Addled John.
John, i think i hear Putin''s ringtone... - Reply to this comment
- McBush called Obama presumptuous for giving a speech in Berlin, since he isn''t president, yet McBush can presume to speak for all Americans to another country''s leader. That''s Chutzpah.
Bush & his McClone''s middle east policies mean that we have almost no military options short of nukes in a crisis like this one. Putin probably isn''t too worried that we''ll send a platoon to stop their advance. We don''t even have enough troops for Afghanistan, for the real fight against al Qaeda & the terrorists because of the bush/mcbush war in Iraq. - Reply to this comment
- McCain: "Today we are all Georgians, except of course the people living the state of Georgia, who are already Georgians. Thank you very much. Thank you."

- Me american feel we must make it clear to russia that this is not acceptable. What if they decide to invade the Ukraine. I guess we should just let them try to resurrect their extended empire. You may have forgotten but they poisoned the person elected president of the ukraine and trheatened to cut off the supply of oil and natural gas to the Ukraine during a campaign where they feared a western supporter would win. Talk about paranoia. I am not hoping for or wanting in any way war with Russia, but international sanctions might be the answer but the UN is helpless in this case since the russians have veto power over any actions that might be taken.

LOL YOU can''t be serious!! People like you make me sick! You back and support a War based on PURE lies that has worn out our Military and then YOU pretend that we have some way of influencing the actions of Russia. Are YOU honestly THAT stupid??? You think THEY don''t know the condition of our defense and our Military? Any fool should be able to understand that we are a toothless lion and Russia knows it as well... we have a trashed Military, a Nation on the brink of Bankruptcy and Our ONCE position as Leader of the Free World has been handed over to France. Russia MIGHT pay attention AFTER they stop LAUGHING at you LOSERS!! Sieg Heil McBush - Reply to this comment

- THE DISPROPORTIONAL GEEZER REPEATEDLY VOTED AGAINST VETERANS%u2019 HEALTH BENEFITS
McBush Opposes the 21st Century GI Bill Because It Is Too Generous. McCain did not vote on the GI Bill that will provide better educational opportunities to veterans of the Afghanistan and Iraq wars, paying full tuition at in-state schools and living expenses for those who have served at least three years since the 9/11 attacks. McSame said he opposes the bill because he thinks the generous benefits would %u201Cencourage more people to leave the military.%u201D (S.Amdt. 4803 to H.R. 2642, Vote 137, 5/22/08; Chattanooga Times Free Press, 6/2/08; Boston Globe, 5/23/08; ABCNews.com, 5/26/08)

THEY were LIED to sparky... that Dog and Pony Show at the UN?? IT was ALL of it LIES. It''s NOT my opinion by the way... it''s the opinion of the CITIZENS of those nations and it''s right there for all to see. Fascism is NOT the answer and neither is McBush!! - Russia and the World are much to complex for either Bush or McBush! They can''t understand anyone or anything that doesn''t fit their views or their little world. Since we started down this road of Fascism we have become outcast in the world and AMERICAN''s are faced with standing ALONE while people like Bush and McBush make war all over the world. What I find so amusing is that McBush condemns Russia for doing to Georgia what we did to Iraq... These people are NOT leaders, they are simple minded Bullies and are NOT what this nation was about or should be about. Sieg Heil McBush
