Univeral health care? What are you nuts?! How do you think it has worked so far- for other countries? Not very good, if you don''t know- They wait for hours, maybe days to see doctors. Democrats want to make it Mandatory- and that is not freedom. They promise to do so much- and yet- Congress has DONE NOTHING with all their promises- Do you feel stupid trusting them again? You should. You really should feel stupid for trusting a Democrat. The fact that people have labeled Bush a liar and now the same people say Democrats aren''t liars- is just plain insane. Obama is the next Bush. Get it straight.

Social Security has been the most succesful social program in the history of mankind to this point, despite the GOP efforts over the last 20 years to ruin it.

agree, if they don''''''''t take it out of our checks it will come in some other taxation, why do you think gas costs so much more in Europe? Liberals are freaking retarded in their thinking sometimes. Somebody has to pay for all their socialist plans and it''''''''s usually John Q. Taxpayer.

Umm... right now it gets taken out of my check... about $300.00 worth every month. the i pay 205 of the inflated prices for any outpatient surgery etc. for my family of four i easily pay $10,000 every year in healthcare costs, and get at best average care compared to much of the rest of the world.

Any new payroll tax to pay for any new government benefit will be followed by the creation of a "trust fund" which will be initially over-funded resulting in a surplus which will subsequently be used for new and expanded programs which will deplete the fund resulting in talk of increasing taxes or cuts in benefits for fear of the fund going to zero.

What a clown.

Who in the hell do you think is paying for the "socialization" of Iraq?

I suppose rebuilding Iraq''s infrastructure, and socializing their society at American tax payer expense is perfectly acceptable, right?

What would have been the cost to America if we had not taken the fight to their home turf?

When it comes to war, Democrats turn yellow, they have not the will nor the courage for the real fight.

The cost? You mean this new Democrat welfare program that they call universal health care? How much of your paycheck are you willing to forfeit so that the Dems can fulfill their dream? How much of the cost worries YOU when it is going to come from YOUR money to pay for others?

First of all, we didn''t take the fight to their "home turf". We went into Iraq instead.

Secondly, what fight have the democrats ever backed down from? And why no criticism of Bush "cutting-and-running" from the REAL war on terror in Afghanistan?

And finally, why are you worried about the cost of universal health care, but you could care less about the TRILLIONS being pisssed away in Iraq that could have provided universal health care to ALL of America''s citizens, for an estimated 12 years?

you are wronggggg

YOU DO NOT LIKE THE USA IN THE MIDDLE EAST

BLAME THE DEMONIC-RATS

THE DEMONIC-RAT DOCTRINE

On February 16, 1943, President Franklin D. Roosevelt said the "the defense of Saudi Arabia is vital to the defense of the United States." On February 14, 1945, while returning from the Yalta Conference, Roosevelt met with King Ibn Saud of Saudi Arabia on the Great Bitter Lake in the Suez Canal, the first time a U.S. president had visited the Persian Gulf region.

The Carter Doctrine was a policy proclaimed by President of the United States Jimmy Carter in his State of the Union Address on 23 January 1980, which stated that the United States would use military force if necessary to defend its national interests in the Persian Gulf region. The doctrine was a response to the 1979 invasion of Afghanistan by the Soviet Union, and was intended to deter the Soviet Union%u2014the Cold War adversary of the United States%u2014from seeking hegemony in the Persian Gulf. After stating that Soviet troops in Afghanistan posed "a grave threat to the free movement of Middle East oil," Carter proclaimed:

Let our position be absolutely clear: An attempt by any outside force to gain control of the Persian Gulf region will be regarded as an assault on the vital interests of the United States of America, and such an assault will be repelled by any means necessary, including military force.

With a little more stress relief, we may not need Health Care reform.

BAM BAM OBAMA 45,298 vs BIG MAC McCAIN 67,399

"Paris Effect" still being studied by both campaigns.

McCain''s http://www.BOP-O-METER.com tops 67,000 BOPS!
Obama''s http://www.BOP-O-METER.com tops 45,000 BOPS!

After a furious BOP FEST that went into the wee hours of Sunday morning, Obama jumps out with the fewest BOPS to close out the first full week at http://www.BOP-O-RAMA.com.

This reporter has not seen the like of this contest since "The Rumble in the Jungle," the great heavyweight fight between George Forman and Muhammad Ali. This with the Olympic''s is making for a rip roaring political season just before the big shows at the conventions.

Who will do a better job mobilizing there base in this instantly updated BOP POLL? Clearly the grass roots effect is working for the Obama campaign.

And what if any are these frenzied results of the first week part of the ever growing "PINK EFFECT!" The result of what is looking like a strong possible third party run by Paris!!!!!!

Well this reporter is signing off to get a cup of morning joe! If yesterday was any indication, this Sunday, August 10, 2008, could prove to be a BOPPING long day!

The only way our industries are going to be able to compete against foreign competitors is to ensure that they don''t have to carry the burden of health care. With stagnant wages and ever increasing health costs, the average working man can''t carry the burden. This means universal health care is a must. As for quality, look at where the USA is in life expectancy, baby deaths, etc. We aren''t doing well with our present system.

Medicare''s going broke. It''s in much worse shape than Social Security. It''s like going to cost us trillions and we''ve got to keep that. We have to pay for the elderly so people younger than 65 should be on their own and what congress needs to do is figure out why it''s costing so dammm much for healthcare. It''s becoming bigger than big oil.

WellHell3: Well that''s a commendable belief, but unfortunately one that is not shared by a lot of your peers. The GOP has long wanted to get rid gov''t run health programs, social security (or at least entrust it to Wall Street), and even the Dept. of Education. Do your research and don''t take my word for it.

WellHell3: Then you should take a look at the conservative platform, which essentially wants to privatize everything.

Actually NO, I believe the government needs to help those who truly NEED it!

And I believe there are people who who will flat suck off the government that don''t!
