So what''s the punishment, Castration, Beheading?
This preoccupation With $ex began when the $ex police,
along with the Moral Majority proclaimed this a moral nation and unpromiscuity illegal.
Larry Flint exposed the Moral Brigade.
Catholic Priests did the rest.
A nation built on genocide, slavery, and
White House slave concubines is not all that moral. Unless a politician is a $exx Police Hypocrit they should only be judged by God, Family and the Voting Public!

I guess Hillary''s a political animal just like all the men . . . her response to show strength and unity in the face of infidelity is like a strategists'' dream in terms of a politicians'' career. Because I think we as people tend to be more harsh about cheaters if their wives show suffering.

The thing is people can''t really fake being okay, even Hillary I don''t think. Like maybe most wives just don''t have that greater sense of ambition to motivate them to feel like insulating the cheater offers the greatest net benefit (?) Hillary sucked it up and came this close to becoming the first woman President! I think Elisabeth maybe just wants to offer the best family life for her kids that she can while she can (?)

Since it seems like more politicians at that level are cheaters than not, I''d be inclined to say hey why not make John Edwards AG because whoever they get instead (assuming Dems win) is likely to be a cheater too so whatever. But politically, having an AG who cheated on a dying wife is just too much fodder for the GOP attack machine to get mileage out of maybe (?)

He''s only a man and maybe he had a reason, maybe his wife approved like H C did.Either way he did not lie about his religion to get Christian votes and lie about growing up poor on the bad side of the city when everyone knows his mother was an educated well to do women and his father trained him to be a Muslim Christian hater until he was well in his teens. Get off Edwards case he''s done nothing compared to others. We have for got about democracy and now we deal in raceomacracy(a race voting whites out of power and everyone is scared to say anything because of the race factor,HOW ABOUT THE TRUTH.

---"the problem for clinton was lying under oath in the supreme court. the problem for edwards was making family values a campaign issue and having liz out stumping for him"---

My latest thinking is that it''s not really about character/values/judgment - it''s about power. The problem for Clinton was that the GOP were in power of Congress when he got caught, and I say that because he came this close to being made co-President once again and believe you me there were probably a good chunk of voters who saw the opportunity to put him there as backlash against the GOP impeachment hearings as part of the draw. Also, look at who points the GOP fingers - Newt Gingrich was cheating at the very same time he was going tsk tsk at the Clintons!!!!!

The problem for Edwards is the the harsh reality is that he''s just not important enough to the national scene to have the insulation needed for people to look past this transgression. If his platform had been popular enough for him to garner the majority of Democratic votes and become the nominee and this came out, we''d be rallying around him the way the GOPigs rallied around McCain when the Vickie Iseman story broke. If something comes out about Barack, we''ll likely rally around him too . . .

This politicians are gross people . . . not sure if they''re like that when they enter the fray or whether the process turns them into that type of person, but it seems to unfortunately be par for the course :(

"There are neighborhoods in Baghdad where you and I could walk through those neighborhoods today." Mccain prior to visiting a Baghdad market while being flanked by 22 soldiers, 10 armored Humvees, and two Apache attack helicopters

"Well, it''s common knowledge and has been reported in the media that Al Qaeda is going back into Iran and receiving training and are coming back into Iraq from Iran. That''s well known. And it''s unfortunate." Mccain before correcting himself by saying Iran was training "extremists," not Al Qaeda

"There''s no doubt in my mind that we will prevail and there''s no doubt in my mind, once these people are gone, that we will be welcomed as liberators." Mccain on the Iraq war, "Hardball" interview, March 24, 2003

"We''re going to prevail and we will win and it''ll be one of the best things that''s happened to America and the world in a long time ''cause it''ll reverberate throughout the Middle East." Mccain on the Iraq war, "Meet the Press" interview, March 3, 2003

Mccain says he has been right on Iraq? I wonder what wrong would have looked like???
