err my grandfatehr was born in tx in 1886 , My son is 5th generation texan , and we were here in the US before that . I dont know what crack you are smoking but we will be here long after this election and long after history has weighed in on Bush . and of course me being an aamerican you are welcome to stay , even after that tidal wave of disgruntled voters rolls over you in Nov. .Unlike you I dont think having a different opinion makes you the enenmy , it merely means you have a different political opinion . - Its a wonder you dont see more stories like this , or the guy that killed the people at the church because they were "liberals" Read the message boards here . "liberals, support terrorism " Anne Coulters book says "the only way to talk to liberals is with a bat". Rush regularly equates them with terrorists and a danger to America .Michael savage and Michelle Malking are just as bad. When did having a different political opinion make you an enemy of the stare in this country and a danger to fellow americans? From most of the discussion i hear from the rabid right, liberals are a danger ,literally to America , Is it any wonder the loons come out? Of course the bloviaters on the right are just out to make money ,sell books , but they have a following . Just like the complaing about the "secular culture" they are creating one too,and its one in which 50% of their fellow americns are a literal threat to them .

I do not think anyone will change anyones opinion at this point as far as voting. I have seen war and i canassure you it is not something i want to see again for any reason. I will fight to defend my country, but do not wish to see a civil war within.

I agree. When I on rare occasions decide to stop back in here I just can''t stand some of the sick comments, and can''t stand the made up bs lies. If someone believes McCain''s positions and policies are smarter for the country and themselves, then by all means they should vote for him. As irresponsible as his comment was, Jackson''s use of a common saying used to infer someone needs to be brought down a notch isn''t quite the same as a man loaded with an arsenal of weapons specifically stating he will kill. - mycomment, I think (and i don;t claim to speak for him/her) Azure''s comment was aimed at the many who come on here spreading rumor and innuendo without knowing any facts, or even understanding the policies of the candidate they support. That was why i expressed my agreement. i don;t know how much time you have spent on these boards; but it is pretty scary. Scary enough that i no longer even stop in more than about once a week.

- Bush was here in Thailand yesterday. I stayed home. It would have been a mess to try to go see him which i don''t care to anyway. Also i would worry about an attempt on his life and not want to be in the area if it happened.
